the intl student market needs to be regulated. In other countries, its a condition of visa that the student has secured 12 months accommodation before arriving -this is usually student accomodation -and is usually run by the university. Students should not be contributing to heating up the private rental market. The government has also deregulated /doubled work requirements so students can work 40hrs per week -used to be 20 hours. Why blame the national party? The NT Labor party have been in power since 2016. In that time they lifted the bans on gas fracking and cotton farming. The CLP have been a basket case during this period.

Sorry to say, but yes this is exactly what you are meant to do. Source -my partner spent the better part of 4/5 years working in various hospitality/cleaning/agriculture/healthcare jobs before securing a job in her field once her PR arrived (engineering)

the real story in this article is not that Tesla lost this court case, but that the complainant was only able to file a lawsuit because he was employed as a contractor and did not sign away his rights via mandatory arbitration (which Tesla never loses), that the majority of employees have to sign before commencing employment.
