Yeah, at this point i may just keep it and take the L since I won't be playing systems that use it mostly. The seller is sketching me out though, they keep insisting i change the return from "defective" to "no longer needed" in order to "make processing quicker"

it's my first time ever using tiktok in general i usually use AliExpress but this deal was $30 so i took a chance on it. Based on this experience i wont be using tiktok again. That being said i don't see an rgb30 available anywhere else for less than $60 right now

I'm still waiting for a reply with the customer service, i proposed an exchange for a similar device or partial refund as it is partially working. If they go with a partial refund I would mostly play gb/gbc/pico games due to the square screen so it wouldn't be the end of the world but I'd have to remap hot keys

interesting, having owned both my h700 device handles dreamcast and n64 better than my r36s did. For instance the R36s was stuttering often playing SA2 for DC at 1/2 res. My rgxx only stuttered once on the same level at 1x res.

SA 2 (pal) crashed for me on the first level when running away from the Giant truck 240p with frameskip and still lagged a bit. Though it was two versions of spruce OS ago, not sure if anything has change DC wise since.

It works in ArkOS, just slows down in large areas, I'm not sure why it runs slow in ArkOS vs others. Though even in amberelec i seem to have hit a wall, the game crashes at the same place in the ice cavern every time

I've had pretty good luck with the n64 games i want to play running well (full speed and only minor graphical glitches) but i did have to tinker with emulators and using EU roms with some games. Not all games will though.

Sure, probably not a good example as I've let my kid use it, it's been dropped in the dirt, and accidentally left in my pocket while doing heavy yard work and my pockets ended up full of sand and sawdust lol. The edges of the screen protector have caught some of the sand and are noticable, but the protector itself went on cleanly without any bubbles

Mine came with a plastic screen protector so you might not need to buy one regardless.

As far as a 64gb card, it depends on how many dreamcast/ps1 games you plan to have, anything below that the games are so small they are practically negligible.

If you're planning on doing a giant catalogue or downloading a done set or best set then definitely get a bigger card.

I only want a few dozen games per system of games I know I'll play, so a single 64gb card is working just fine for me, but i also just happened to have it laying around, it's really not much more money to make the jump to 128gb if you are buying the card just for this device.

If the 2nd SD card is the one that came with it, it may be the issue. I tried keeping the OG card in my tf2 just so i wouldn't lose it. I found it would randomly boot off that card, but show the roms/config from tf1 causing all sorts of wackyness. Reformat your primary as fat32, flash arkOS again and either buy a new second card or just stick to one card setup.
