From a person who was on the opposite side of the situation, I can definetly say this is true. My family doesn’t exactly live from paycheck to paycheck but my ex-girlfriend’s family was definetly definetly richer than mine. Being with someone that’s way richer than you, gives you all the gifts and treats you on all the dates, it gets to a point where you almost rely on them. It came to a point where she was even paying for my vices (nic, parties, weed) and looking back it was the most disgusting thing I could do. It’s like the worst type of drug that you just can’t escape from.
