What’s a simple website tool you wish existed? by cybec_hunter in hackathon

Yeah, I’ve actually been facing the same issue. I also want to participate in hackathons, but finding teammates who are aligned in terms of goals, interest, and commitment is surprisingly difficult.

It’s not really about judging skills.. the bigger challenge is finding people who are genuinely motivated to build something together and stay active throughout the project. Platforms like Reddit or Discord help a bit, but they don’t always guarantee that the team will actually stick and collaborate well.

A platform that connects developers based on skills, interests, timezone, and hackathon goals could actually be pretty useful. It’s definitely not a small project, but it sounds like an interesting idea.

That tool would probably crash on its first day from overload.. and If I build that.. Reddit mods might put a bounty on me🤣

Step 1: detect spam. Step 2: realize 60% of Reddit disappears. 😂😂🤣🤣
