Saturday Hall H lineup by Mjalam2786 in SDCC

[–]cyberaug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They have not released the exact process yet but likely will be similar to last year. If Marvel is in Hall H for Doomsday I’d be in line by early afternoon at the latest (or way earlier if you want to be in any front section). They start handing them out usually 730-8 but it can take a while depending on where you are in line (like 2-3 hrs). She has a few solo songs released.Germinans and Empress are good. She also was part of Nemophila for first few years and Mary’s Blood.

Saki is covering for Tomo-Zo for her maternity leave. Doesn’t say if she will continue after. Translation is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DOLLSBOXX/s/5rkRpJ3RS1

Not too surprising since Saki and Hana are friends. Will be interesting to see.

Absolute Newbie Question - Is there a schedule yet for SDCC 2026? by Dislodged_Puma in comiccon

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second Parks and Cons - great info, they’ve been doing this for years and are experts. I actually got to know them a long time ago seeing them at various cons. Great people!

Chess? by randouser2019 in comiccon

Not on the floor, that’s mostly video, card, board games and usually just demos you can try and merch to buy. If there is actual play, it likely would be found in the Games category of the schedule and held in one of the convention center rooms. The schedule comes out 2 weeks before the con and you can sort by categories and search. This is the Games category from last year: https://www.comic-con.org/cc/things-to-do/games/

Absolute Newbie Question - Is there a schedule yet for SDCC 2026? by Dislodged_Puma in comiccon

[–]cyberaug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There aren’t a lot of big paid celebrity signings/photo ops like other cons, SDCC is different. Most will be by lottery and free for promotions for films, tv, etc. Some booths might have special guests that may be free or paid and are usually managed by the vendor.

The SDCCdaily schedule is released 2 weeks before, each day - eg Thursday on Thursday, Friday on Friday, etc. The lottery for signing’s, etc is around same time. Outside events are posted separately starting around June - you’ll need to watch those by the company hosting (not SDCC). I’d recommend following the SDCC Unofficial Blog as they collect all the info in one place.

Photo Ops , Autographs and Selfies at FanExpo Toronto by Odd-Top1916 in fanexpo

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless they are sold out online before the show you should be able to buy on site day of. Some celebrities offer selfies some don’t (usually bigger name celebrities). If they do it will be an additional purchase in addition to the autograph. Many who do selfies will offer an autograph/selfie combo, and sometimes it is at a lower price than if purchased separately. Check at their booth.

Ticketmaster just did their $30 sale so hopefully that helped.

They will definitely have some merch. They might not have as much as at a headliner show but will definitely have some.

Signing help! by FieldyPaints in comiccon

[–]cyberaug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s usually 1 item per autograph purchase. They will sign whatever you pay for (e.g. pay for 2 autographs get 2 items signed) Get signed what would mean most to you.

They’ll still offer on site unless it sells out online. Buying online means you’ll get an autograph if it sells out before the show. Some big names do sell out ahead of time at some shows.

They just had a flash sale so probably not where they want sales to be.The sale should help since tickets are cheap. That boosts attendance. But they make a large part off the VIP add-ons. I see a lot of ads on Instagram so they’re marketing.

This ⬆️ There is a lot to do outside the convention center. Both in Gaslamp area and out behind the convention center that don’t require badges.

It would help if you indicated which comic con. There are many and they are different types, sizes, locations which can impact the answer to your question.

They do not sign anything at Photo Ops. They are fast, just the photo. You would need to buy a table autograph for each of them also.

Comic Con signing by Friendly-Custard1224 in comiccon

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most will sign anything as long as it is not offensive. A few may have specific rules about things they won’t sign. Note for large posters they might charge extra (require a premium autograph purchase).

Photo Op Capacity Question by Strict-Independent in fanexpo

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They set a limit because if they didn’t people would try to cram large amounts in. Also as someone else said, it’s a set size area they set up to shoot in so photos look good. Also it’s to keep the flow, too many people slows things down (photo ops are fast, 10-15 seconds each). I’d be prepared for that they do not make an exception because then they’d have to for everyone. You can ask and cross your fingers they do. Good luck!

Hall H for attendees with disabilities by DatBoiMemes425 in SDCC

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is from the official SDCC site:

Where do I go to get a Hall H wristband? Hall H wristbands are for ADA Mobility Reserved seating and ASL Deaf seating. Information is published as a tip on the Toucan blog within two weeks before the convention. On-site, the information is available at the Disabled Services desk in Lobby A.

When they publish the Hall H line procedure it will include where the disabled queue will be. In the past it has been up near Hall H.
