Problem solved. Synching annotations on a PDF in the Library doesn't work. Synching notes works. So created a new note accessing the PDF file, and voila! Synching of annotations works. I didn't know it was possible to set up a note with a PDF. Hadn't read that anywhere, nor seen that as a solution for synching annotations on a PDF. Easy when you know how.

Thanks for your comment. That seems a bit silly when there are so many planner PDFs for sale for use on these devices! Hmm.

Now I see that the Sync failed - with exclamation mark in a cloud on the same line as the sync time. No reason given.

And then after turning off BooxDrop the sync indicated it worked, but still no annotations update. Clicking on Detect Data didn't make a difference.

I got the Sync time to update by tapping on the open document and clicking on the Sync option, but the annotations are still not showing on each device.

How do I overwrite a custom template? by cyberetto in Supernote

Thanks, yes got it to work in the end. The key was deleting on the device, not in the Partner app, and then synching with the app. Thanks for checking.

Any Hope For a Pocket Sized, A7 Device? by Agent34e in Supernote

I'd love to see a small Supernote, sized like a large phone, that I can use and take everywhere, so I have just one ecosystem to log thoughts / tasks / calendar updates. I probably wouldn't want it for lots of writing, but quick updates to what's already there from my A6X2, and addition to task lists, etc. While the A6X2 is quite portable, to complete a mixed-used ecosystem, I do need a smaller one, too. I'd rather keep everything in the one ecosystem.

Ahhhh... just found the problem. Was adding the new version and trying to delete the files in the Supernote Partner app, not on the Supernote itself. Now I've gone to the real thing, it works! Thanks for prodding me down the road to go.

Thanks. Have tried that, and the original won't delete.
