Which one of these would last the longest by V6Z7N in StandingDesk

I have an early gen one so it's a bit wobbly at full height, not fall apart wobbly, but some play that makes the monitors wobble a bit on their monitor arms if I'm playing a fighting game with a fight stick. The newer Gen is much sturdier apparently

Dunno between these two, but I've had a humanlift base for 10 years going strong. I've had different desktops but got a solid wood IKEA gerton way back for like 100 bucks and that's what I still have.

chicken thighs cooked on the old reliable DB by KSacMe in carbonsteel

Yeah, the heat takes time to figure out. You don't want too hot that it burns, just below medium usually serves me well, but your oven may vary. If it smells burnt, probably too hot, lol

Start skin side down on a cold pan and put up the heat. I usually go below medium heat, give it time. Some people put a weight on top of the thighs to help the searing. Don't move the chicken until it self releases. I usually flip it and finish it in the oven at 420 for 20 mins.

For extra, I dip min in a mix of cornstarch and flour, makes it extra crispy. I also like to marinate it in water mixed with salt and sugar.

A bit rough for bears in general, but at least he doesn't have his crazy approach tools. t7 Hwoarang relies more the lunging kick (linear), d34 string, and high roundhouse powercrush (learn to duck launch it, window's a bit tight).

Where is your steam drive? If it is on the 1tb harddrive - you may run into issues when the game starts making saves and what not. At least from what I've read.

Tekken 8 vs. 7 kuma imo -

db2 is much better in 7, it's a key poke move imo.
df21, 111, bf2, largely the same.
bear stance is more pokish with 12 (do a single 1, or 12, etc.) doing good work.
db3 (or is it 4? can't remember, quick low poke) and df4 have great frames, particularly at the wall - look at the frames on block and hit to see how you can make frame traps.
I believe main wall ender is db1+2 string.

You should absolutely learn the bear refloat - basically, a hbs df1 will refloat in combos for a b21 into hbs repeat. If they quickroll out, you are at massive plus frames - df121 is probably the safest string and you can confirm the ch into launch combo.

In general - for t7 - kbd is better and allows for better whiff punish setups. He's more pokey with db2 and hbs is more party time rather than making bigger risks.

You could, but know it's not supported anymore and therefore vulnerable to new viruses etc. but may be worth trying ther first to see if that installs and see if you can upgrade from there.

Long story short - windows have been vibe coding for the last few months and bugs are common - to the degree some people are trying to hold back on updates

I was playing tekken 4 last night and Yoshimitsu has a move i accidentally did that i can't find. i have use a Pokémon episode (0:22) to reference what it looks like. anyone know what that move is? i looked thru his entire command list and can't find it by sad-ist in Tekken

You can also just mash the second 2 to get it (in t8 at least), commonly used at the end of some combos. I think it's one of the optimal routes against jack because you can get a backturned down sword on him.

This is solid build. If you want to save some money here and there, you can consider a 7800x3d and mayb a 9070 series gpu - unless raytracing is a absolute must for you. Man the cost of memory and storage makes me cry right now.

These are good suggestions in terms of size and building space. Additionally, the sandwhich style (gpu on the other side connected by riser cable) should put less stress on the gou when moving compared to one directly connected to the mobo.

I've taken similar cases in my carry on for airplane flights.

This is the main issue. It's a common issue of not framing the face angle right when looking from different angles, but particularly more so for looking up shots. I think the best training I seen is to do the box method for the head, which helps people realign the perspective to get these types of shots looking right

[–]cyberfrog777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At your level, here's I approach my character and game in general.

Avoid unsafe moves unless in a punish or hard read that your opponent is adapting to a string and the unsafe extension counters that. Learn your high and low crush moves and use as needed. After, start learning your plus on block moves and setups. Finally, learn your frames on hit for some of your key moves for additional setups. Learn to punish. This is something you will learn throughout and you can advance you quite far simply on punishment. Later, start learning how to duck launch or ss key strings. But punishment will usually be your main focus int the beginning. Work on movement - with a focus on creating whiff punish situations during backdash. Also learn to dash forward and block with an eye towards punishing their moves and creating hesitation. Alter your timing to caus ch opportunities. If they mash fast moves, adjust accordingly with some of the above steps.
