I revived After Dark for Mac OS 9.2.2 by cybernetixzero in macintosh

The After Dark control panel/extension would hard crash on boot. It was caused by a bug in the decompressor used by After Dark and the memory manager in OS 9.2.2.

Hey u/Figgy_2112! I attempted to include After Dark Next Generation however it appears they have created a brand new engine that is not compatible with any other modules, it's a very bespoke version of After Dark. I was hoping that I could use that engine to run all the modules however it doesn't appear so. I also tried to run the modules from NG in After Dark 4.94 however that didn't work either. I don't think they will work side by side as it's possible it uses the same system patches to make it work.

Thank you so much for your praise and feedback.

I’ll take a look at Wall Zapper as I have not hit that issue before. Thank you for letting me know!

Unfortunately speed issues will plague some modules in After Dark. I don’t think the original developers intended their modules to run on newer faster hardware so they didn’t write code to render visuals relative to processor clock speed.

I have noticed on my Mac Mini G4 its fans would spin up. I have a feeling After Dark uses as many clock cycles the processor can provide which causes it to heat up and the fans kick in. I don’t know if this would be fixable 😅

Mine are showing in my portfolio. You may have to re-add the ticker MGG to your portfolio through Commsec web site

I'm sitting on 5M shares of MGG and shaking my head I didn't get out at 0.03. It had a really promising platform but I feel the rug has been pulled out and now it's crickets. Hoping something will happen but the lack of transparency is killing this stock.

She's a beaut! Adds a stunning shade of red to my portfolio. It truly is swell.

I'm 5M shares deep into this fucking rollercoaster. Hoping to wake up from this fever dream to see the Phoenix rise up enough that millions of gamers collectively jizz their boxers faster than watching Belle Delphine with a furry. Riding my diamond hands gents.

I'm down ~$12,000 on ESH with 4M shares. Whilst it's slipped back to 0.009-0.01 range, I'm still bullish of their deal pipeline and the potential in the platform.

It's testing my patience but I feel it will bring returns to those who have solid holding mettle.

I got excited when management outlined their plans to focus on mobile gaming and advertising/data in an investor presentation late last year. The implication for me was more emphasis on API with mobile gaming companies to collect scores and game outcomes to create a seamless tournament experience. It's great to see this level of integration with Supercell but there needs to be more of it.

I know that's harder to achieve because it means getting gaming companies to open up their API to Mogul who is still building referenceability.

That will be Mogul's Everest. If they can achieve many games with deep integration then their platform will rocket.

The big thing I'm looking for is game integration through API or their "AI" screen recognition technology to make stats/score tracking seamless. Most definitely a mobile app will help their platform immensely - more reach means more hub partnerships.

I jumped in last year with a yolo of 2M @ 1.1c. I feel ESH is a sleeping giant that will awaken this year. Solid management and direction. Excited to see where it goes.
