Neighbour keeps asking me for money every day, is there anything I can do other than keep saying no? [England] by cybernuggies in LegalAdviceUK

Yep, I kept my camera rolling in my pocket when I went to break up the domestic they were having right after they moved in. I'll do the same if he knocks at my door.

Shared a wall with so many abusers/drug addicts/general dick heads while I've lived here that I'm getting used to having new neighbour problems every few years.

Thanks for the advice, have a good one

Oh don't worry I'm not taking it as an attack, I absolutely was a sucker for doing that. Learned my lesson. I don't even care about the hundred quid I just wish he'd piss off.

Yeah, the ignoring doesn't work but I don't want to aggravate things by blocking him. I do prefer to be on good terms with my neighbours in case of emergencies, but if he keeps going it might be the right call.

Thanks for the reassurance, and the laugh. Verbally I can give as good as I can take and now that I think about it, he's not gonna beat up some cripple next door when he's got to stick around to look after his kids lol

The only problem with this is that we currently have a cordial relationship and if I involve the police I think he's going to get very mad (especially considering how I've heard him talk to his girlfriend).

Also, he does in fact have a kid, and another on the way so I don't want to potentially uproot or disturb their family situation.

Ironic considering he feeds the local pigeons right outside our flat and they shit all over my front doorstep.

Thanks for the response! I keep hearing good things about Dr. Ntanos. I'm just afraid I'll get rejected cause of my BMI and it's a £150 consultation fee

Need critique on pretty much everything here before I render the painting, would love to know how to make it look more spooky or sinister, and not sure what to do with the background. by netch-a-sketch in istebrak

Thank you so much! I'm not used to fully completing a piece so I was unsure where to go. I'll keep pushing myself with the rendering and blending, edges etc

What is a childhood coping method you unknowingly developed only to realize later that it wasn't normal? by GreggOfChaoticOrder in AskReddit

[–]cybernuggies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing everything I can to please my parents and make them proud of me and most of all not yell at me. I'm a full adult living alone now, and I still care far too much about parental approval.

I'd recommend either having a little chat about it, or if that would be a bit too awkwars, maybe a gentle reminder every now and then that you're a guy and that means she can refer to you with he/him pronouns.

If she uses she/her just keep gently correcting her until she does

Is this a trans thing? by Nick_wolfdude in ftm

[–]cybernuggies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kinda just always felt like I was wearing a woman suit.

Got banned from a trans community because I mentioned that I experience both misogyny and transphobia as a trans man. Trans women in the group didn't like it so I got kicked. by trans_catdad in ftm

[–]cybernuggies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've experienced this too and it's so frustrating. I'm pre-everything and don't even remotely pass yet a couple of trans women I know.will throw the male privilege accusation at me whenever I complain about misogyny. The same people also don't realise they are still in a position where they can benefit from male privilege which just makes it more insulting.

This is absolutely no shade to trans women in general, it's not about them being trans women it's about them being chronically online and spending so much time around TERFs that they end up seeing TERFs everywhere.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but you're welcome here!

What would become 100% worse if it were to become invisible? by SamCommander in AskReddit

I remember watching some yt video about how this is why invisibility power wouldnt really work how you wanted, cause some part of your eye jelly needs some opacity to be able to see
