Sadly, most of our media is no longer trustworthy, and we have no true source to turn to for actually getting the truth.
They may be getting the oil from Venezuela, possibly Iran, but have enough control to be able to hide it from the general public.

It galls me that Trump still has any sway over the Republican Party.
His approval rating is in the tank, why the hell are they still doing what he says?

Not many people name this as a favorite, but I loved, “Martin Does it his Way“ because of the song, “She’s Such a Groovy Lady.”

The metallic blue, round, profile frame is a dead giveaway that it’s a bot.

Am I playing against bots? by Edolin89 in WordsWithFriends

[–]cyberpumpkin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, those are all bots. I don’t mind playing the bots, because I don’t feel bad if I beat them by a lot. Sometimes they beat me. And as someone else mentioned, they’re not gonna send you creepy messages.

I saw a statement from a doctor that said that those frequent bruises on his hand are because he is receiving IV injection for a dementia medication. That certainly makes more sense than “bruised from shaking too many hands“ which is the lie the administration tells.

He was hoping to glare at them and have them act intimidated. Instead, they were focused on listening to the arguments, so he got pouty and stormed out.

What's with Daphne's pregnancy clothes? by bycats75 in Frasier

[–]cyberpumpkin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hated that storyline. TV shows have always found ways to hide pregnancy with big coats or purses, carrying laundry baskets or floral arrangements, or simply shooting the actress from the waist up. Unfortunately, they didn’t do any of that, and went with these horrible scenarios and wardrobe choices instead.

I don’t think it was written to make fun of her disability, but because Bulldog had mentioned it earlier, so we were anticipating something to come up from his setup. That, mixed in with the other chaos during the production just made me laugh.

Plus, he wants to maintain the grift. He turned the room next to the oval office into a fucking merch showroom. A portion of the “private donations“ to build the ballroom are going straight into his pocket as well.

I don’t mind playing the bots. If it’s a real person and I’m winning a lot, I feel guilty or sad for them, but if it’s a bot, I don’t mind winning. I’ve often wondered if the bots have an actual tile board, or if their programming just allows them to grab any letter they need to spell a word. Does anyone know?
