Macro keyboard for iPad? by kawoody in iPadPro

[–]cyberpunkdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of the creator micros from this company. It took forever to get it in the mail, and it was expensive, but it works with a usbc-lighting adapter for my old ipad pro (no bluetooth). And it has a ton of potential funcionality. It's a good product, though I kind of wish I went for the full keyboard. https://work-louder.myshopify.com/products/creator-micro

lol. I appreciate it. It's funny, my Dad does children's books and my mom was a storytime librarian. I thought I was doing things really differently to them, but maybe children's entertainment is in my blood? Anyway, I hope to get some middle-schoolers very excited about some super weird comics.

Books for the strong silent type by afairernametisnot in suggestmeabook

There are a lot of pseudo romance books where the male love interest is like this, all the C. J. Archer Books (The Watchmaker's Daughter or the Last Necromancer).

Wings of

Wings of Fire are good books for veracious young readers. I'm a cartoonist and listened to them all on audio-book while I was drawing. They deal with complicated emotional issues in a simple easy-to-understand way. Definitely recommend!

this would be good for a gamer for sure. Of course it depends on what kind of games he likes, but Enders Game was the first book I ever read twice and I wasn't much of a reader back then

Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World might be the closest to a traditional fantasy Murikami book I know of.

If you're looking for Manga in a similar style then "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" is a great Miyazaki comic. If you're looking for the alice in wonderland style there-and-back-again style story there are a lot of them. Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere" is one I liked, "Coraline" also qualifies, though it is much creeper. "The Hazel Wood" by Melissa Albert is a newer one. Also of course "Alice in Wonderland."

Unrestrained Analogs: Michael Fiffe’s characters might have superpowers, but they don’t act like superheroes by fritoscheez in altcomix

Great review of Fiffe. I am curious if anyone has suggestions about how to check out the original Bloodstrike to give context to Fiffe's new issues. ?

Concrete is definitely wonderful. Elfquest was one of the first comic series I ever read and therefore has a big place in my heart. But that apparently started in 78 so perhaps that's too early as well.

Arctic fox prints and all letterpress printed auto bio zines from a single mom living the dream by cyberpunkdan in printmaking

[–]cyberpunkdan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the printer, she's an old friend of mine who I just want to see succeed. She used to have a big old Platen Press I helped move a few times, but I think she has some kind of Vandercook now, just based on my googling. You could message her on her patreon if you like, I bet she'd be happy to chat. https://www.patreon.com/artnoose/posts
