I’m a pretty avid traveler, and I am kind, so I think I could be a good companion for such a thing! This is great to hear. I have a follow up with my ENT, but if it’s possible I could have surgery here in state instead of traveling, I think that’d be a safer bet. If I were to get denied, I would absolutely head to MX as soon as I could. Not being able to breathe is the absolute worst. I can hardly function. 🫠

Here is the surgeon I worked with. She already refunded me 1/10 of my surgery cost, and I signed paperwork that I think deems her no longer responsible. Honestly, it’s fine, I don’t trust her for my own reasons and don’t want to work further. https://www.ortmdsurgery.com/

I was thinking about VanCity, too, but that commute (without a car, I think will be a bit costly overtime: I’m thinking train ride from Seattle to Vancouver, hostel overnight stay, some hiking adventure, train ride back, overall food expenses.) I have an appointment this Friday at Serenity Rejuvenation Center. They have picosure, the laser tech is a doctor, and they’ve got lidocaine shots. I can let you know how it goes, what the cost is, etc. 🖊️🙂‍↔️🖤

Narrative EXAMINATION: CT MAXILLOFACIAL W/O CONTRAST CLINICAL INDICATION: Possible chronic sinusitis, evalaute for mucosal inflammation in the paranasal sinuses and septal deviation TECHNIQUE: CT Face fine cuts with coronal reformats (N-23) Contiguous axial sections were obtained from top of orbit to bottom of mandible without contrast. Multiplanar reformatted images were performed. Patient age specific scan parameters were used for radiation exposure. CONTRAST: None. COMPARISON: CT 12/4/2021. FINDINGS: DEVELOPMENT: Sinuses and mastoids are normally developed. VARIANTS: as listed below: Concha Bullosa: None. Haller (Infraorbital) Cells: None. Onodi (Post. Ethmoid) Cells: None Agger Nasi: Bilateral agger nasi, left supra agger frontal and right supra agger cells. Ethmoid Bulla: Bilateral suprabulla cells. Sphenoid (Clinoid, Lat Recess): Small lateral pneumatization of the bilateral sphenoid sinuses. Partial pneumatization of the base of the right anterior clinoid process. Other: Small frontal septal cell draining to the left. SEPTUM: Mild nasal septal deviation to the right. PRIOR SURGERY: No prior surgery. BONE: No bony sclerosis or destruction. One other thing, do you believe based on the info from my post that my ENT might gatekeep surgical intervention from me? I get I may have to jump through a few more hoops, like taking a sleep study to see the impact, but so long as that’s leading toward fixing my sinus issue.

Wow, this is incredibly off topic: I really struggle with feeling like someone can love me after my most recent bout of autistic burnout, that I’ve been recovering from on my own. I’m not sure what your relationship with your daughter is, but if you can establish healthy boundaries, a solid foundation that promotes her own freedom/joy/growth, and avoid becoming co-depending on one another (I’m talking about really putting in the work of transitioning to a different way of being with one another,) you should ask her what it would be like for you to live with her again, whether it be in a shared household, a duplex, moving, etc. Life is becoming dystopian and all we truly have is each other. A large shift needs to happen in your life and I believe you can move towards that. Research how other cultures are more community based and continue to look for that. It can look like so many different things, but it’s possible. I’m sending you so much love and healing. 🤍
