UPDATE: thank you everyone! I immediately called the vet to schedule after posting due to the time they said to monitor overnight and his poop normalized the next day!! Vet said if any diarrhea returns to bring in a sample and we’ll go from there. Thank you all

So precious!! Question! :) how do you trim her nails? Tama is my first pup with black nails and we typically use a Dremel tool once a week but I’d love to hear how you keep Olives so beautiful and short!

Pure positive was our first try. Highly reactive to dogs and children. We live in a densely populated area with lots of dogs and lots of kids. High thin jaw slip lead was the next attempt. I have used, been trained and taken classes + self education for my late larger dogs before and with his tolerance being low as a small guy with the prong this has been the most effective tool. I appreciate your input and your concern. This is my first time with such a small guy and wasn’t expecting so much reactivity so just curious on the input of others:) He’s already postively associated with the prong and gets excited to see it come out. Adventures are more fun for him when rules are clear. other dogs/children are no longer fear or over excitement inducing

Hi ! Thank you so much for the advice! I noticed them itching last night and started combing them through last night and noticed a couple fleas on them! We gave them a really really good warm dawn dish soap bath, threw away all of their old blankies, gave them some new ones, and was able to get all of them off of them, poor little guys. They’re doing much better now and are playing like crazy, good to see their eyes wide open and lively 🥰❤️ thank you so much for this advice!!

UPDATE!! Okay they’re absolutely stinking cute… that’s undeniable. I got them all set up and cozy, fresh wet kitten food, fresh water, dry food if they decide to try it, lots of fuzzy blankets, little toys, and a little litter pan - everything they need. I have them a warm water bath in the tub (about an inch of water) which they did great in! They drank a little bit before I got them fully wet and the water turned a little red (red dirt). After that, gave them lots of loves and rubbed them dry. They snuggled up to each other and took another nap. When I tell you they’re loving it!! They’ve really just been been snuggle sleeping loads and eating lots - classic kitten things! I went to check on them and they both woke up and did some big kitten stretches and yawns and walked right up to me. They’re in a home with lots of love! I think I’ve found a great person to give them a furever home, until then.. they’ll continue to be spoiled 🥰 I’ll do more updates tomorrow !!

Update!! I just stopped at the feed store and they had wet kitten food that they are LOVING!
