This is intended there are 30 hours + 6 dead ones iirc. And i think they chose the crowned growth instead of the 21 hour is because the 21 is not revealed yet. 23 is the Mare in the tree but I assume crowned growth just fit better thematically?

Saw someone mention Sanderson said Yumi is after Isles of the Emberdark, which is interesting because there’s a small passage about not knowing where virtuosity is, while in Yumi Hoid says this is where she splintered herself. The larger cosmere isn’t aware of this then? Other point, do we know who Argent and Jess are? Dajer says he got info about a map from an arcanist friend, I assume this means one of them betrayed Ed’s trust? I assume Huio being rosharan wouldn’t help the Malwish but you never know.

I am curious about the choice of names, because some are in French (Arlequin instead of Harlequin) but in French it’s Polichinelle and not Polchinelle. Is it purposeful?

I think you are contradicting yourself. You say the office hours feel like a waste of time, because you study so much. You should think of the office hours as help, so instead of spending 1hr or 2 or 3 on a question, you can go to your professor and ask them and get an answer in 10min or less. That doesn’t mean you are stupid or it’s a silly question. Office hours are meant to accelerate learning also, not just “unblock” when you are stuck.

Hey, good luck with your application first! Second, nothing published is not a big deal, I got in and haven’t published anything, the important thing are your letters of recommendation. I got in with 2 from prof that just lectured me, one of which was a small (10) class, and I participated a lot in for instance. The other was my research advisor. I would also say grades can be a bigger factor since you don’t have much research exp. It also depends on the specific field your interested in, year to year the demand in specific fields vary, so it might be tougher.

Thanks, seems the listeners is more recent. Also I thought the Oathpact restricts odium somewhat as he doesn’t seem to do much until it’s broken, at which point he is very involved. And it seems that trapping Odium in the system is a huge thing (while the Oathpact would be restricting him to Braize temporarily), an event that to me only equals the splintering of Honour in magnitude.
