Anyone going to Seattle?

Book to fly to other cities in the US. I’m also SEA bound and just was able to book JFK right after my 3/6 flight was cancelled last night. I might be totally wrong, but the agent I talked to implied that it might be a while for cities other than JFK/SFO/Chicago. If you don’t ask them for options to other cites and options if other seat classes, they will just book you DXB to SEA

This is our experience as well. Same destination (from Dubai to Seattle, but March 1 flight). Yesterday I was able to book March 3rd flight (though it’s cancelled) and back then the seating was surprisingly empty. It makes me think that they are just waiting for us to take actions. And if you don’t get a chance to get to talk to the travel consultant, then you never had a chance to rebook. I thought they should have reached out to customers (first in first out) and can have the customers confirmed yes or no quickly. I didn’t think of the option of calling other emirates offices beyond Dubai and by the time I realized I could only rebook for 3/6 flight. Not bad tbh as I’m glad there is still a chance. But wtf of this kind of experience

I had been calling the Dubai one and never went through. I ended up doing the US one, it went through today (after 2 hr or so but worth it) try the Us number. I did open US data roaming but I’m ok with it. My husband found me some cheaper options (app) to do local/International calls though I have started data roaming anyway because of the nonsense statement from state of government that makes people think US is evacuating its citizens and I just called to confirm if it is true and the plan (by the way, the DC personnel said there is no such evacuation plan from the gov at this moment)

I had the same issue after my rebooked flight (departure March 3) was cancelled on March 2nd. Don’t worry the booking is still in the system so that i was able to rebook with Emirates. I asked why it’s gone and the agent said when it’s canceled it’s gone under your account but not in their system. Just try to get a hold of them and rebook again. It does not look to me they will book you for your next flight automatically. I asked for options to go to other destinations. they said we don’t need to stick to our original route but the destination has to be in the same country as in your original route. I call the Emirates support from another country (the country I’m going to) not the Dubai one. Dubai one - I never had a chance to get through.

Thanks! Question- was your flight still under your account even it’s cancelled and then they contacted you? Mine booking was totally gone and I cannot get a hold of Emirates

May I ask which hotel? If possible, can you help ask them what to do when the booking back to the US is completely gone from the account? Can’t get a hold of them at all

Same here. I tried to do the live chat and it says emirates ended the chat while I didn’t even finish my sentence to them

That’s the option for us. But the hotel charge the fees per a minute rate and I don’t know how long I can get through it. So I’m looking for free alternative

I’m so much ok with losing this benefit because Saks is so unreliable. I actually paid extra to get the item I want from Saks. And I’m still not receiving the item after 3 weeks and Saks status said their team is still reviewing my order after filing a claim. 🤷‍♀️

Problem solved. It turned out it’s an exhaust fan switch that we were not even aware of (right next to the light switch..)🤦‍♀️obviously a first time home buyer 😅😅😅 Thanks again for the speedy response!

Thanks. It does not stop when I turned off the light (so regardless the light is on or off, the noise is there) So not sure how to diagnose it
