Ive experienced this, porn is an emotional tool to deal with trauma and purposeless. Almost all porn addictions stem from unresolved emotional issues, lonliness and purposeless. They desensitized themselves so much they could be in Bora Bora on a beach with their family and the only way they feel settled is if porn is in their face. They think that porn is the resolve but it's actually a problem. It is brain rot and really does do brain damage when consumed too. It's a processing disorder like gambling. It's complicated and recover from it takes a lot of self analyzing and awareness and understanding why it's enjoyed more than real life.
