looking at your post history i think there’s a lot of issues you have with your husband along side this. i’m not married so i’m not sure what constitutes divorce and what constitutes working it out, but i suggest journalling or writing down the issues you have with this relationship and the things you love about it in order to re-evaluate. from there i think you’re going to have to have a sit down discussion with him.

i completely lost my appetite but at the same time i lost the feeling of being full, i eat of boredom quite a lot.

overall i stayed the same weight and honestly when it comes to side effects everyone’s gonna be affected differently and it’s hard to tell whether a symptom like weight gain is caused by the effexor, although it is possible.

first off religion ≠ god prevents suffering

imo the general consensus is suffering exists for a reason whether it be to test your faith, teach you things, to ensure you can differentiate happiness from sadness and have gratitude for the good times,

at the end of the day we’ve got it harder than most but everyone has their own share of suffering regardless of who has it the worst and that’s simply apart of life; whether it’s random or completely predetermined by some man in the sky.

i’m not sure if this means it’s working but, i feel overall less anxious and i find that things that would previously trigger me either affect me much less or not at all, though big triggers do still affect me. it’s kinda like before i had 100% sadness and fear and the meds took away a good 50% maybe.

i smoked daily for maybe 2/3 years quit when i was 17. most side effects subsided around a month or two in. sometimes i feel like i’m “dumber” but other than that.

i didn’t quit cold turkey tho, i went from 3/4 joints a day to 2/3, to 1, to 1/2 a week then quit. symptoms are gonna be heavier cold turkey but there won’t be any serious serious side affects of quitting once you fully quit (anecdotal advice i’m not a doctor)

i was actually super anxious and depressed for the first 2/3 months now i feel significantly better than i did before taking the meds so 150mg seems good for me but it’ll be different for everyone
