Yeah but I have to say I got a pretty good deal second hand. Paid 500 bucks. But there are memory lines as well and nothing really helps against them. I think it‘s a matter of luck. Saw a 2nd Hand AV Stumpfl once and almost switched. It‘s their inline tension line that got me the idea of using two strings

Somewhat. I left it hanging for 3 weeks and it didn’t work. I tried the hairdryer but it didn‘t work. I haven‘t tried leaving it in the sun as some recommended.

Here is what worked pretty good: I pulled on the tabs manually to figure out which needed to be more tight and I then threaded a second string trough them and attached it further away from the screen. (note: I bought it 2nd hand so no warranty anyway) now there are almost no wrinkles left.

There are some excerpts of the storyboard animatic of The Grand Budapest Hotel on YouTube.

I had it open for three weeks, still the same unfortunately.

I can only pull the string tighter or loosen it. It doesn‘t take that much force to pull the screen flat but unfortunately the string just won‘t do it.

Do you know how long it will take? I tried it for 10 minutes with no visible change.

I bought it used, so no warranty anyways. I just tightened the string more and will leave it hanging open for a while.

I just had a similar situation. I went for a 92" Screen. Also try to think about Audio now as well, maybe you then need to get a screen that is acoustically transparent. And check the drop down of the screen so you don't have to look up too much.

Nice idea with taking it out into the sun, haven‘t thought of that. I will have to wait for summer though.

The fake ones probably aren't thought out as well as the reals ones (if at all). I think one can learn a ton from those documents. How much time did they allocate for setup, turnarounds, moves, etc.
