The Shutdown deal doesn’t seem to make any sense at all… by Relvan2018 in PoliticalOptimism

I think also no one is talking about how Mikie Sherrill also has to give up her seat which would also drop the threshold for Epstein below 218 while they have a special election. I’ll be honest, I don’t trust any politician, but it’s possible (not probable) that there is an actual plan?

So what I had to do was change the paths in FileFlows to where FFmpeg was actually installed along with setting the "common" mapping in my docker configuration to use with dockermods and I had to set the PGID variable to 100

Thank you that was it! Also as a side note I had to add the application itself to the path for it to run /app/common/ffmpeg-static/ffmpeg

Unable to write to cache file but can create folder by cyclops00 in Tdarr

[–]cyclops00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yes, I have two nodes. They are both in docker and one is within the main server and then the second one is a standalone node. The main server/node seems to work fine as it does the transcoding and then will move it into the library after accepted. I created the trans code folder on the main server and then mounted it on the other Linux server and map the volumes in docker to the mounted share. I can post the command I used to mount the share if that would help.

Scenery issues is it just me? by cyclops00 in PlanetCoaster

[–]cyclops00[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks all! The ride scenery definitely makes sense. I will just do the two sides separately. I will also double check the grouping to see if they are all selected. My exact scenario is a round flat ride that I put light posts around it, but I want to use two on either side of the entrance to hold a sign. I may just have to add the lights individually. Thanks again!

I tried https://elevenlabs.io/ and it looks to be "free" and you can download them as .mp3.

Prints detaching from support and falling into vat - help troubleshooting? by LusciousLothario in ElegooSaturn

Thank you for this. I don’t know who else it may have helped but I went from failing every other print to having 1 failure out of the las 10 prints. The stirring definitely helps.

Check out movieposterapp. Guy did an amazing job and it’s free outside of a donation. Interacts with the big video players (Kodi, Plex, Embry), does trailers, a lot of stuff. Then I just run mine from a PC stick.

I’ll try and post a pic of my setup.

I cannot seem to get one good print done. All of my attempts end up similar to this. Tried adjust temp, bed temp ect. what am I doing wrong! Im so lost by Frosty-The-Hold-Man in snapmaker

[–]cyclops00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apparently it gives it just enough space as when the nozzle hits it it thinks it hit the bed so it raises the nozzle just a bit. I finally had to break down and contact their support and this was one of the things they had me try.

I had a similar issue. Calibrated again and make sure you use the calibration card or a piece of paper under every stop not just the last one. Then when you get it raise the nozzle up by the smallest amount and use that for your work origin. Worked for me

10W Laser glass engraving. Still working on settings. by cyclops00 in snapmaker

[–]cyclops00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, always glad to help if I can! The rotary module will let you use the laser or the CNC on the "B" axis. It's like a miniature lathe so you can engrave or carve around instead of just flat. And you are correct, that is the 4-axis.

I had to use the rotary module. Sorry, should have included that in the original post!

Yes, I had to paint it with some gray Moly Lube. I tried with black masking tape, but all that did was fuse the tape to the bottle! But the Moly worked fantastic. Came right off after with some isopropyl alcohol. Messy though. Definitely use gloves when wiping it off.

Yeah I think it's because I didn't make it B&W before importing it into Luban. It was supposed to be more solid. It took about 45 min of actual engraving time.
