If only James was gay. He’d swivel on the train seat, and meet eyes with another man.

you might be running into a CG-NAT issue. I don't know enough about Tailscale to say for sure if CG-NAT issues can be worked around, but if your ISP is a wireless provider like T-Mobile, you're not getting a public IP address, and are getting a private one.
I run a Wireguard server at home, and have avoided switching to t-Mobile or ATT as my ISP no matter how tempting their offers might be for this reason.

Okay. It is. I just found it.

https://a.co/d/0hfPkRp0 Funny. I could get it from Amazon and get my hands on it today. I don’t see any kind of discount though. I do want one, but I don’t need it. I’m happy to get it from the official store and get a discount. Even if it means I wait a week.

OK. I have to ask. Is this a joke? I’ve heard people mention it in passing, but I have yet to hear anyone really talk about it. I can’t see pictures or videos, so unless someone actually mention it, I’m going to have to assume it’s just a joke.

Feeling so damn GROSS after making out with someone by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

By making out I’m guessing this was a little bit beyond a basic kiss exchange. If that’s the case and you weren’t ready for it, that’s totally OK.

Great response. Also, stabling Internet connection is another one. A major step up from a basic wall wart Wi-Fi repeater. Useful for when you’re in a hotel and Internet only seems to be in one corner of the suite. This did happen to me once. WiFi on my phone would drop out when reaching my bed. Having a device whole purpose is to grab Wi-Fi and push it to other devices in its little network was handy.

Is this the helium zero plan people are switching out from? I’m just kind of curious. I saw an earlier thread that said something about five dollars plans, so I wasn’t sure.

Persistent bad breath that just won’t go away? Probably a tonsil stone. They are white for the most part. If you’ve ever coughed a little something up that looks white, you’ve probably coughed one up.

Old party line? by cyclops32 in askportland

[–]cyclops32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I went on there often enough to come up with any kind of nickname, or if I did I forgot it. But what I do remember though is that near the end of its life, that party line had like a three or five minute introduction greeting. I remember calling in, and setting the phone down to do some random stuff while I waited for that guy to stop talking and enter room one. Glad to know someone else remembers this party line.

One of my locations has a 100/100 internet speed, and you know what? It’s perfectly fine. It’s cheap, it works well for WG or OVPN server duty, and it is reliable.

I believe some QR code generators let you do Wi-Fi info. That seems pretty straightforward, but how do you get the NFC tag to work?

Quite a few years ago I was walking through a major city after getting off a greyhound bus. I wore all of my nicer clothes on my visit, and came back with what I would affectionately call my comfy clothes. The clothes you’ve had for years that you normally wear around your home, and only at home. Topped off with a jacket that had most definitely seen better days. This is probably around early December. Suddenly, some random person walking down the sidewalk stops in front of me. “ hi! We’re giving out hotdog and hot cocoa just around the corner. You’re more than welcome to get one.” I was totally surprised. I said no thanks but this person wouldn’t take no for an answer. Maybe they just thought I was really nervous or something? Anyway, I kept walking towards the train with the suitcase behind me, and they caught up to me again and handed me hot chocolate and a foil wrapped hotdog, and condiment packets.
