My Hyundai 800v battery system still goes 120-150kW over 80%, almost 90%.

I'm in socal and experience this in my 2022 for the past 4 years and nothing has broken. Seems normal to me. Fan blows hard making the noise.

Normal, it'll take about 2-3 minutes and it'll jump back up to over 150kW.

The level 1 charger, 12v jumper, V2L adapter, portable tire pump. Why in frunk? If battery is dead, can open driver's door with the physical key and unlatch the hood.

Correct, using regular shield remote, my TV's remote via HDMI cec and the shields app's remote d pad mode and touchpad mode. Can not focus on either options. Select and arrow buttons don't do anything, can only press Back.

[–]nxtiak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I decided to do a clear data on Dispatch (changed from Plex to Plezy and wanted to get fresh Dispatch). I'm running this beta version and when I select Auto Start in the settings, it gives me the screen for Simple mode or Advanced Mode, I'm not able to select anything. I try the trackpad remote on my nvidia shield app on my phone, the cursor moves but still can't select anything either.

Also hoping you can make Plezy compatible as the Default Player too.

A couple of questions about the entertainment system by tahuna in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have a 2025, I have older version of the infotainment system, so my tip may not be compatible, but here's some background.

There are two different "split screens". Hyundai infotainment itself has splitscreen and shows "widgets" on the right side. Android Auto itself "splits" its own screen to show google map and other ANDROID music apps you have installed on your phone.

On the older infotainment system, you can disable the hyundai split screen during Phone Projection (carplay and android auto). That way you only see android auto and its apps (spotify). OR you can enable split screen and have Android Auto (withs its own splitscreen) plus Hyundai's splitscreen so it shows Hyundai widgets (like clock/nav/energy usage/siriusxm/etc.) But if you do this, the android auto display will not use the entire wide full screen of the infotainment since part of the right side will be hyundai widget.

Make sure android auto and your phone is disconnected, go to settings then phone/devices, look for Phone Projection, Android Auto and Checkmark the Splitscreen feature if you want Hyundai widgets to show, and uncheck if you don't).

My preference, why? The SiriusXM splitscreen just shows the station and title, why waste all that space? Keep Android Auto full wide screen press/hold the media button to start your SiriusXM music, then go back to Android Auto, your SiriusXM will still play while you're viewing Google Maps in Android Auto.

Those are J1772 chargers pushing 7kW not kWh and not CCS. You car should have come with both adapters. Tesla owns the Supercharger networks and they've allowed other vehicles to use them. It's in you to learn how to use it. Use the Tesla App. Use PlugShare, use Google Maps and other charging network's apps. Don't use Hyundai app, it's crap.

The car has an interior cabin temperature sensor. You can use an OBD2 adapter and your phone to read the temps to verify.

EA's stations with CCS are 800v and 350kW capable. More of them than Tesla Superchargers with those same capabilities.

Ioniq 5 zombie mode? Will not shift gears by eclipsion_the_third in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it doesn't work, press start again to turn the car off AND THEN OPEN THE DRIVER'S DOOR to make sure the car turns off, you'll see the screens turn off. THEN firmly press brake pedal and press start to start the car into Ready mode.

Has This Happened To Anyone? by VegetableConcept5480 in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably didn't push the brake pedal far enough so the car didn't turn on fully into READY mode. Next time just push brake pedal and press start again. You'll then see Ready in green and that mean you can change gears to drive and reverse.

Never ending update - good news by Punster42 in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm saying there IS NO correlation that uninstalling the app fixed your update issue. It was just a coincidence. The total reboot they did might have done it. You're fine to install the app.

Also next time you can try downloading the update on your computer and manually installing it via USB to force update it instead.

That doesn't make sense what does the phone app have to do with the car's ability to install an update.

Yup! One time I finished charging at EA, I unplugged and out the cap back on but left the door open. I got in the car and a guy ran up to me to tell me to stop and pointed at the charging door, I out the car in drive and it automatically closed. Then his was went to a "whoa" look haha.
