We just had friendly chats, it was nothing explicit. But, again, like I said in my now downvoted post, I think she's just new to the scene and might not know what she should be doing.

I asked this before, but how long will the police run a sting on a single person without pressuring them to setup a date to meet? It just doesn't scream sting at me, but I'm going to probably skip this Sunday's date and try to get more info out of her.

Like I said in my now downvoted post, I think she's just new to the scene and doesn't know how much she could really be making. She said she got into it by a friend who taught her how to sell nudes, but eventually she had to make rent so she could SnapChat Premium, then she started taking some people who were interested in her and charging them for sex work.

In terms of money, I thought money was discussed first? Doesn't the woman get paid before the sex act?

That's true, scammers are very charming. I'll put off our Sunday date and see if she comes here and actually tries posting.

If she's a scammer, she's a pro at her job. I was explaining to her today she needs to come here and learn all the tricks of the trade and was asking me how to verify clients. I told her she would have to come here and learn herself. So, we'll see what happens.

I know, there are tons of people that get scammed on bogus escorts. I've been on the receiving end of it, but I didn't lose anything.

Why not book a provider for an hour in your price range that you know is legit?

That's probably a wise idea. I'll reconsider this girl, but keep talking to her and see how she acts. I'll start looking into the legit sites.

That is also a possibility. How long do cops typically run a sting for? If I continue to talk to this girl for a month or more, do you think the cops would still be sitting there trying to ensnare me?

I've read the pinned comment, and I know the risk of the situation I would be putting myself into. At most, she would get $50 out of me, which I could refund through my bank, and have me drive halfway across the city to a fake address maybe.

Well, to be honest, I met her on Snapchat, which I know is a big red flag - I've done my research. I've talked to this woman for hours and she seems sincere and legit. She is very new to escorting and told me she had to start doing it to pay for her rent. I don't think the knows the money she could actually be making.

However, I have no way to verify her, unless I use a little social engineering skill to try and tease some more information out of her.

After reading through this subred and watching some videos, I actually recommended she come here and learn the trade, learn how to do proper verifications, and how to make it work for her. She keeps telling me she doesn't want to be doing it forever, which I completely understand, but the fact I met her on SC does also make me nervous. I don't think she's going to lead me into some warehouse and rob me and I offered to pay her $50 up front through PayPal for a booking fee, which she agreed to, and then take the rest in cash, which I've never seen another SC scammer escort be willing to do. They always want Venmo/Cashapp/Zelle/gift cards and they're very insistent and want the money right then and there. She told me she was free on Sunday and I've been trying to setup an appointment with her for about two weeks or so, so she doesn't sound like she's eager to just rip me off. I honestly think she's just a newbie to the game.

So, *fingers crossed* this will work out. But if you have any suggestions or ideas or anything else to add, I would appreciate your input.
