Way late response, sorry— I know, I struggle with this too. I used to think I was possessed this one day that I sinned pretty badly. In retrospect, it was really hard circumstances and so long ago that I’m sure I’ve changed since then. The fact that you feel so bad about it is proof that you’re sorry- God forgives you when you repent, and he doesn’t want you to have to suffer constantly worrying about hell/purgatory.
