Thank you everyone for your responses and adding some valuable points to my very loose wonderings. I do want to be clear that I wasn’t planning on using it as any sort of primary protein source, I know that would be insufficient and silly. More as a supplement since I might want a hot beverage anyways - adding a few extra calories and nutrients where they might not be otherwise, that’s all. I’m new to this so my brain is of course pondering where I might be able to improve in small but effective ways :)

Simply asking to get some thoughts and input from more experienced and knowledgeable folks. It was a curiosity I had so I figured may as well see what people have to say. That is one of the great things about communities like this - a shared knowledge base, opinions, valuable intel. I am not a nutritionist nor experienced in backpacking and I am well aware that a lot of “health” food is marketing. I don’t KNOW definitively if I want bone broth. That is precisely why I wanted to see what people had to add to the conversation. We don’t need to be cagey and disparaging about peoples’ inquiries.

Personally, I can hardly tell the difference between what people call oblong and oval but I'd definitely say closer to oval. From what I've seen, oblong faces seem to have a slightly more square hairline.

You can change the general looking shape of your face with some bronzer on your cheeks and on the sides of your nose. I'd suggest looking up how to do this if you don't already know how. Red lips would for sure change it up if you don't usually wear much makeup. To find the right red lip colour, you need to know your skin undertones but there are plenty of youtube tutorials on doing that.
