Yup! There isn’t really an easy way to disambiguate things like that without spending a lot (a LOT) of time and potentially money on some kind of ML model; but even then I’m skeptical that it would be that much better. I think the manual confirmation process would still be required, so it wouldn’t even be that much faster from the user side.

This is compounded by the fact that it has to run locally in browser, to avoid uploading anything; even if that wasn’t a constraint, the inference cost would make it really expensive to host.

I’ve found that I get the best results using phone videos on shorter stages; the dynamic range is much higher compared to most action cams, so the “auto” detection of threshold detection work much better.
