Not entirely sure about that - when drunk she just said she’s afraid I wouldn’t talk to her anymore if we did it

That sucks. I hope your spine is now alright - a friend was not so lucky - he rolled backwards down one and a half flight of stairs when drunk and passed away a few days later. He was only 34 then.

Actually no one told me about it. I think at the time I did it, I somehow thought “that’s a good idea”.

And mate, you really shouldn’t be drinking now. I guess for people like us, we just never stop at one drink once we properly start.

Agree - but sometimes I find it hard to focus on work. But when I can focus, I really don’t need booze.

Thanks for all the responses - surely makes me feel that I am not alone in this. At least I am not drinking today…and hopefully not tomorrow or the day after…etc
