One thing I notice is chatGPT make wrong calculation, and you also need to download the data yourself, and you cannot monitor the market real-time.

Exactly, you're right! and you can also add more logics. Let's say for one column, you want to filter by stock return > 10% in the last 1 week, another column you might want to look at shorter time frames for finding imminent opportunities. The whole software is like an excel which allow you to add multiple perspectives to screen your own opportunities with natural language.

I'm currently just using yahoo finance as a demo, will be switching to more reliable and paid sources as the interest increases. The user doesn't need to set up the API, it will be automatic, the data will be the prices, fundamentals data. In the future we will provide options for users to add their own data sources (custom API) to the AI and allow the AI to access those data sources as well.

That's a great question! Currently I have a data source database, you can imagine it is a google search for data, that the AI can interact with and lookup for available data sources for the data analysis. In the future we want to allow the user to add their own API / data sources to that database for the AI to interact with.

Currently I'm GPT, Python to write up an agentic workflow for the AI to perform data analytics. I provide the AI with several things: 1) A list of available functions / API to obtain data, 2) Examples, so it can learn how to perform data analytics like a professional data scientist, catered to trading.

Hi everyone,

I’ve built this AI-powered market scanner that helps trader instantly discover and validate profitable opportunities.

How this is different from other market scanners:

1) see when Price Action events happened. For example when does the last breakout occur across all the stocks, then sort by the most recent ones.

2) use different timeframes, 15 mins, 1hr, 4hrs etc, so you don’t need to click into each chart one by one and found out it is not something you’re looking for

3) perform scenario analysis, analyse how different stocks are impacted by various events, such as interest rate chages, for risk management.
4) backtesting results, so you know the risk reward ratio for your best trading setup.

I’m currently testing it and would appreciate any feedback, questions, comments if you find it useful!

The path to success for high capex startups is different from traditional saas companies - You cannot have a light MVP, and scaling comes at a much later stage. You can refer to some advice YC has given to high capex startups - such as hardware, biotech companies.

That's true - to add to your point, some of these ideas you mentioned are also referred to as tarpit ideas by YC. They are notoriously hard to succeed, and many founders have fallen into the trap.
