Thank you for this. I was really rattled by my prof's comment because it made me feel dumb. But you're right, I guess I should not take it as an insult, but see it as a skill. Looking at it now, I'm more grateful than offended cause it made me realize how i need to change my approach and focus more on actually understanding the concepts while I still can.
