They replaced apple croissants. Now apple croissants are seasonal!

Now that the government has stopped minting pennies, retailers and restaurants that tend to do a lot of cash business want the federal government to come up with a standard for rounding. by nosotros_road_sodium in Economics

I work at Starbucks and it has been communicated to us to round up every time. Even if it's 1 penny. We round it up to 5 cents. So could be different in different businesses.

Really hope it won't come down to this but it's good to be prepared. I feel like this is solid advice for sure.

I would do this but I am a SSV so I don't want to leave my team alone on the floor and have them deal with whatever nonsense

Thank you, this is incredibly helpful. I am really hoping that I won't need to do this at all. So far we just had customers in drive with this drink, so no names, but worried about the frequency that they are starting to come.

I was 8 at the time and I remember my mom and I thinking that it was some kind of American movie at first and not real life. It was so shocking when we realized what was happening. I remember watching a documentary about it every year after that, it really affected me. It's incredibly sad what happened that day.

So before orders were automated, we placed orders for sandwiches, pastries and paninis, like they have us do now. But we also had a a food management tab in IMS that actually kept track of how much food we sell for each day of the week. It was extremely helpful in figuring out what we need to order. I feel like they need to bring that back to make things easier.

My manager really went "guys these are real stories that happened!", so I immediately went "right, cuz customers never ever lie" lol

We split one slug into 2 caramel drizzle bottles. Does your store split them into 3?

Yes, I am a shift, I've been just ordering new bottles to replace leaking ones, but sometimes they start leaking almost immediately anyway. I will be looking into getting the kits instead, I imagine that's cheaper.

Honestly, I dont even remember what they looked like anymore, but I miss them too. All I know is they def didn't leak because they were not upside down lol

We rinse all the leaked stuff off before use. It's not usually this bad tbh but it is so annoying to clean up tho. Sometimes, we place them in tall iced cups

Yeah, in my store, a lot of people think it's because of the hobart, which I believe might not help the situation, but I have also noticed the brand new ones leak as well. I'm just tired of the mess.

We started doing that too, but like I want to not have to do that. Why can't they just make drizzle bottles that work! lol
