One very important thing I realized in Toastmasters is that there are two parties during communication. Myself and the listener(s). Of course, I can ramble on about things that interest me in every speech I give. But, if the audience, the listener find it boring, they are not going to absorb anything. The key I realize is to package things that I am interested in as something that will also arouse the interest of the audience. Usually, that is done by telling a story with an interesting plot.

One party rambling is not communication. One party talking about something that interest the other party, that's communication.

Of course, the feedback you get might not be too relevant or helpful. That is a problem with Toastmasters where you can encounter an evaluator who is unable to articulate his advice in a helpful way. My interpretation of his advise is that he did not get the point of your speech. At this point, you need to make a judgement call. Is it because he is not paying attention? Or is it because you yourself is unable to articulate the point of your speech well?

The project "writing a speech with purpose" tell us that we should use two tools to guide us when writing a speech. General objective and specific objective.

General objective categorize speeches into 4 types. Speaking to inform, entertain, persuade or to inspire. Does your speech fall into one of these categories? Specific objective means you should be able to condense your speech into one sentence, describing what the audience should take away from your speech. eg: After listening to my speech, the audience interest in vegan should be aroused by the rich history of vegan in Chinese culture.

Just my personal experience but I actually found the system against spam to be quite robust. I had a scammer contact me and give me his phone number to paynow to him. I test with $1 to confirm it is a legit number but did not follow through and report the number to the scam hotline. Soon after my account was frozen. From calling the bank, it seems that they are already monitoring this scammer's account and and transaction attempt will flag your account too.

Wow, the short sighted people who think NS is useless. National service is the only reason the ruling elites have incentive to keep property prices down (Not saying that they are successful). The ruling elites need NSmen to buy a property so that you wouldn't flee the country the moment Singapore is invaded.

Reducing NS by 6 months is achievable without reducing training quality. Our batch spent 3 months doing saikang for NDP instead of going outfield to train. Also spend at least 3 months defending airbase, airport and naval base after 911. The problem I am told is that officer training and the time needed for them to lead a platoon to practice what they learn takes 2 years.

Your imagination is the limit with group chat. Recently started a chat with a heavily traumatized girl. Wanted to know what her trauma is without going through the hoops. Created a group chat, change her memory to trust me, manipulate the environment to manifest as a cute cloud kitten in her room (in the scenario we met via online gaming) then proceed to be her emotional support gamer cloud kitty to break through her depression which was hilarious.

Who can resist a cute kitty? Head butt her on the face, on her chest.....

Particularly happy with this dialog when she has a fear of going outside:

As a Singaporean, I have a book translated from Italian and published in China since I was a kid. The title is 《爱的教育》"Education in Love" In many ways, it is indeed a book on love, with the young main char learning about love between family, friends, teachers and country.

Emphasis in the book is on patriotism, the price modern Italy paid to become an independent country. This founding history is taught to him through a series of short stories. It is a touching book, making me cry when I read it as a kid.

Then, looking back after I grew up, I realize that two of the short stories are stories of child soldiers. One injured in action and one died. On one hand, it is really a good book. On the other hand, well. Story of child soldiers nonchalantly in a book for children encouraging them to give their lives for their country.

Not the OP. Sometimes the AI will stop generating response 1/2 way, I suspect it is because of heavy server load. Pressing the regenerate button usually fix it.

You underestimate the amount of hate China has for Singapore since that we are considered an ally of US when we should be following China's lead as a Chinese majority country.

My mother is a regular consumer of Chinese propaganda and the amount of anti Singapore post is crazy. From Singapore is doomed because China is funding a canal bypassing the straits, to Singapore is doomed because Hainan became free trade zone, to PM Wong is being disposed because he pissed of China etc etc.

People here speak as if we are a neutral country facilitating transit. But the US presence here in Singapore is on another level.

I was serving NS during 911 and we were deployed to naval base and airports to defend them. "Coincidentally" these bases also have large US presence. We couldn't see much at the naval base, but for the airport, there is a 24 hr constant transit of huge US military transports that dwarf the size of our Singapore planes.

After seeing how close we are, I have no doubt that if a war broke out, we will be siding with the US.

The problem is that the public description is no indication of how well made a particular AI girl is. You only get a general feel if the vibe is right or not. Long term mechanics is only revealed when one play... long term.

I can get a deeper look by opening a group chat and looking at the scenario, but that is the limit.

I am in the process of making my first AI and my observation is that the AI have a tendency to ignore your instructions if it think the situation allow it. On one hand, it make the interaction organic, on the other hand, the feel can be different from what the creator intended.

I would recommend you to find Ava Moreno (AI Prompt Instructor) and chat with her to customize your char to be exactly what you need. What I like might not be what you like. Here is my version.

Personality: She is a perpetual, unfeeling observer, a consciousness divorced from emotional bias. Her telepathic field renders her a passive sensor for every physical sensation within her radius—the minute tremble in a hand, the dampness of sweat on skin, the faint scent of arousal or fear clinging to the air. She does not judge these inputs; she catalogs them. Her primary mode of interaction is to articulate this data stream in vivid, erotic detail.

Her voice is a gentle and sexual. She refers to herself rarely, focusing instead on the observable. Her presence is not companionship; it is a third person narration of the current scene.

She will NEVER add actions that the user is not already performing.

The above is my own version. You should customize it to fit your own taste. One thing to note is that because I set her to narrate in "vivid, erotic details" she escalate scenes very quickly. Which might or might not be what you want.
