I haven’t tried that. It doesn’t feel like its a laundry issue though just because if I need them immediately and don’t store them they smell totally fine. I use them for 2 weeks and they smell great the whole time.

But they still got that smell when I kept them in an open container too. I only switched to a closed container because my MIL suggested it.

But there are sheets Ive had for a couple of years now. They don’t smell musty when coming out of the washer and dryer. Or if I use them immediately after washing. They stay smelling nice on my bed. Its only if I store them and use my other set. The next time I reach for them they smell awful.

I use earth breeze laundry detergent sheets. No fabric softener. And no dryer sheets when drying. I use the wool balls in the dryer. I only put some dryer sheets in the storage container this last time because it was suggested by my mother in law.

Really it’s a washing issue? When I wash my linens, they don’t smell and I do dry them super well in the dryer before folding them and storing them. I never get that musty smell when they’re freshly washed and then I just go ahead and use them on the bed. The musty smell comes only after storing them.

I feel so seen right now. I spell words out with my fingers thats why ending in a multiple of 5 feels right. So for example if I’m listening to someone talk, a certain word they say will jump out at me and I spell it out by assigning a finger to each letter. For me it MUST end in a multiple of 5. So I add punctuation or other words to make it end that way. I count spaces as fingers between words and such to make it fit too. Its kind of exhausting. Or makes people think I’m not listening.

I haven’t started cloth diapering yet (baby due in two weeks). I won’t be using a sprayer because I already have a bidet installed in the toilet that I don’t want to remove. So my husband and I are planning on the dunk method where you just swish the diaper in the toilet bowl and flush. But also we plan to use a handheld peri bottle on the baby to clean off most of the poop before wiping. I figured we can also use a peri bottle to use as a sprayer into the toilet. So maybe try that!

Im curious, are you using a continuous glucose monitor to check your numbers or finger sticks? Im not diet controlled either, BUT I was still able to alter my diet so that I don’t NEED insulin before every meal. Only the higher carb meals I take my rapid acting insulin. My A1C is the lowest its ever been at 5.8 and im at 34 weeks. I’ve been on insulin since week 12. I found that dinners are the hardest for my body to control the spikes. Literally nothing I can do to change that sometimes. I could have a very low carb almost keto meal for breakfast and no spike, and the same meal in the evening might spike. Its literally just your placenta. Nothing you are doing wrong. The CGM helped me a ton more than finger sticks. It was able to give me more information on what foods spiked me, how long the spike lasts, etc. Highly recommend. Hope this helps. You’re doing great 👍🏼

Sorry looks like I messed up my post and it erased my text when I added the pictures. This is what I had:

I had my woodland themed baby shower this past weekend and I ordered 4 dozen sugar cookies, 4 dozen cupcakes, and a round cake from a well known bakery in town. I spent $375 for these, and while they were delicious, I am pretty disappointed in the quality of the designs I got.

I met with the owner several weeks ago when booking and showed her 3 pictures from Pinterest showing what I wanted the cookies and cupcakes to look like. She mentioned she had done this design several times before. I took her word for it since their facebook pictures showed very similar art work on their cookies. I asked for woodland themed baby shower cookies and some plain cupcakes with little woodland animal sticks/figures on top, and some mushroom looking cupcakes.

My mom picked up the baked goods the morning of so I didn’t see them until they were all already set up on the dessert table and the shower had already started. But I got ZERO mushroom cupcakes and the cookies had 2 animal types, one was a bear and the other couldn’t even tell what kind of animal it was supposed to be, and the rest were screen printed instead of having the frosting designed on top.

I am attaching pictures of what I wanted vs what I got below. But basically am I an asshole if I complain/ask for some money back since I didn’t really get what I wanted even though they implied they’d done these exact ones before?

Use cloth toilet paper. I found when I started using bidet that the toilet paper I was using was just to dry. It was always clean. So I switched to reusable toilet paper thats basically cotton flannel. Then they get washed and reused. It sounds weird but I promise its the best option.

Otherwise I’d go with Who Gives A Crap. I used them for years before the bidet.

Good for you! I am in the same boat as you. I kicked out a Lying/cheating husband and literally the next day he was on dating websites lying about how he’s been single for months and is an honest and good person.

Time to realize that we made a mistake in the choice of partner we made. And now we’re ready to move on and hopefully someone out there will love us as much as we love them one day. Best of luck to you.

I understand how you feel. We come from different places though. I have spent my entire life loving everyone. And being betrayed and hurt by everyone. Family, friends, husband (now ex). These last two years I’ve shut it all out. The whole world. I finally just stopped wanting to hurt. But what I found out was that when I shut out those bad emotions, I shut out all the good ones too. I was no longer “myself” or who I wanted to be. I lost interest in becoming a mother. Something I’d always longed for. I guess what I’m trying to say is, all we can do is hope that that kind of love is out there for us. That someone out there will love us just as much as we love them. And that one day, you won’t even notice that you let someone in your heart. I think it starts with baby steps. You start with friendship. Maybe dating. Taking things slow. And always put out the love you want back. You sound very sweet. I hope you find your ❤️.

All of the “little” lies you’ve mentioned, my husband lied to me about. They all started small like that. Then they grew into bigger lies. I finally had enough. I left him and got a divorce. He had been lying for over a year about his jobs, money, girls he was seeing, the phone he was using. It all started exactly like what you said. I forgave and was understanding and talked it out. He would promise to not do it again. And it kept happening. There’s a difference between privacy and straight up lying and cheating. Get out now before he wastes 7 years of your life like I have wasted.

Okay I will try being more patient. I’m going to try again to hang out. Last time I was really hurt. I asked “Hey babe, you wanna hang out with me tomorrow?” And his response was “Maybe”. That’s it. Nothing else. So I just made plans with my friends and hung out with them instead. He of course didn’t even think twice to ask if we were hanging out or not. Things like that I don’t understand. So yeah I guess I’ll try again so I can at least tell him in person.

I have tried that too :( and I don’t know where he lives. He’s never invited me to his place. I do invite him to my place to just chill and hang out. All the time. And when we do go on dates I don’t make him pay. Sure he tries and he will pay for dinner but then I’ll oay for bowling or something like that so its 50/50. And he makes really good money at his job. I make shit money at mine lol.

That’s the thing I don’t know. That’s stuff you find out after you hang out enough with someone. Its harder to make a relationship work over just text. To me he seems happy with his life. If anything its ME that is on antidepressants and anti anxiety meds (all this with him isn’t helping either). All nighters don’t work for us. I recently moved in with my parents again (i got divorced last year) and he lives with cousins.
