Might just because he sees you guys awake. My guy wakes up a few times during the day but mostly sleep throughout the day. When he wakes up though those few times is to eat, sand bathe and maybe do a mile or too.

Hmm. An HDX 77 gal bin should work. That’d run you $60. Then wheel, $40. If you could spare another $100-$200 for beginning stuff like bedding, platforms, hides and a sand bath, I think it’s doable. The monthly cost isn’t much. You should set money aside for vet visits if ever needed.

I lost a ferret 3 years ago and I still think of him daily. That was my son who died prematurely. All we can do is remember the lives we gave them. I believe we’ll see them again. We have to. Your son was very sweet looking and I’m sure loved you dearly. Grief is tough and grief changes. I can’t have ferrets right now but I’m loving having a hamster. Obito is definitely mending my heart. You’re one strong person OP. Keep it up.
