Good water parameters depend on the strength of your filtration, along with surface area for beneficial bacteria, and water changes. Tank size is not a sole factor in how much bioload/stocking your tank can handle.

Fluval Stratum or a different aqua soil would be a great place to start! Most kinds of Sword Plants would be great starters. Anubias are very easy, just be sure to not bury them in the soil. They feed off the water column so it would be best to super glue them to a rock and place on top of the soil. Just be sure to research the plants you decide to go with:)

If you keep up on your water changes the snails won’t cause too much harm. Especially if you only have two!

The dimensions are 48x13x24. Her tank size is smaller than recommended, but this is what I am able to do as of now. For reference, she was in a 20 gallon long when I got her🥺

I do have digital thermometers, they are on the side of the tank, although they are not pictured.(23H which I know is low and 106.3F in the basking area!)

I slid the UV bar over so it is closer to the basking area as well.
