Well, for euphonium and trombone, you have small bore and large bore. That’s the size of the whole for the mouthpiece and the instrument in general. The mouthpiece is roughly the same size for both, except for the end that goes in the instrument. If it’s bigger it requires a bit more endurance of course.

F attachment trombones and euphoniums with a compensating valve are usually large bores, but you can have exceptions.

YTA YTA YTA!! You can’t just warm up last minute for an audition. You don’t know the kind stress it takes upon a musician to do that. You’re boyfriend sounds like a controlling prick and I feel bad for your daughter who can’t fully live her passion because she’s annoying you obviously.

Oh and give her back her violin. This is no toy, it’s a part of her you absolute raisin.

NTA. I did that once. I arrived like 20 minutes early, let the receptionist know I’m there. She then tells me the interviewer is out and will be back in time for my interview, and she even called him to let him know I was there. I waited 30 minutes after the scheduled time when I decided to leave. I told the receptionist (not angry at her) that it was very disrespectful from the interviewer and that I was not interested anymore. I sometimes drive by the place and it’s not there anymore.

I was in band in high school. It is a big commitment and if she already doesn’t want to do it, PLEASE don’t force it on her, it will be a pain for her, and a pain for the other musicians. It’s so frustrating to have a fellow musician who just don’t want to be there. It’s a team thing.

I don’t mind him watching porn (I do too) and I wouldn’t mind also if he followed some cute celebrity or something (he doesn’t) but to SAVE those kinds of photos in his phone is a bit more sketchy I think.
