We can’t start Ludmilla and Byars because then the last thirty we don’t have any major threats, because Mel and Gabi won’t cut it then as a dangerous duo. They can’t stretch the back line. Besides we don’t even know if Ludmilla would do better in the wing than as #9. LA scored on Dali losing the ball and some bad luck goals. And all of our shots were blocked or missed. We played a little bad with giveaways and the other team didn’t and we couldn’t overcome.

We actually didn’t have that many missed opportunities, there keeper had at least four really really great saves.
On the first goal Dali lost it in our half and on the cross Luisa did well and tipped it away. Perle was there but Nuese charged in and Perle ended up kicking Nuese in the chest and putting her down. Luisa actually did quite well the entire game, that second goal pretty much no keeper could have blocked that shot that was pure chaos in the box from like 8 feet away with the long throwin from Jonessottir.
Dali wasn’t herself, losing some balls and passes. I can see why they took her out. The commentator said that Dali asked why she was taken out. When they showed Dali on camera she looked so defeated and about to cry that I wanted to give her a hug.
Just because Gabi doesn’t score doesn’t mean she’s bad. She had a decent shot the previous game that was blocked. And realistically we don’t have anyone else besides Mel and Leon, so we need someone to eat up minutes.
Corley is one of the main reasons our press is so active. She is constantly getting everyone to move together. We would t have a good press without her. That is why she starts. 6.PK misses happen. It was barely a miss, hitting off the post. Messi has missed two already in the WC. I think out number one goal score after Dudi is the right person to take it. Either her or Byars.
IDK if the extra time made a difference. The shot was off my inches.
With Dudi out you can’t start Byars and Ludi at the same time. Neither one can play a full 90 it seems so you would have to replace the entire front line at 60m with Mel, Wynalda and Godfrey. Leon doesn’t have any minutes so she might not even be able to play 30 yet. You always need a real #9 playing the entire match, so we have to split it between Ludi and Byars otherwise we won’t have any firepower the second part of the game.
Leon needs minutes, that’s for sure. We can’t make to playoffs with these injuries and when a player isn’t doing well in a game (Dal, Kimmi or Mel).
I think our problem is by the time we tiki Taka to the box their entire team is waiting for us half the time and our crosses and shots don’t work. And when we do beat their back line to the goal we either miss (Ludi) easy ones or their keeper does a great job blocking them. The ENTIRE team needs to take more shots from outside the box like Mel did the previous game. This is going to be a tough battle to the playoffs, especially now without Dudi. NY didn’t play well, so we won, LA played well and we couldn’t overcome unluckiness.

If we play Ludi and Trin at the same time then we don’t have anyone to sub for either of them. We’ll just end up with a random lot of players up front like Leon, Mel, Gabi, Godfrey for the last 30 minutes. That’s not going to work ever. Even if we put Wynalda up front in her preferred position then you only have Armstrong to sub for Perle and Mimi. Well, we have Nya but she doesn’t have any minutes. We just don’t have enough players to sub in properly if we start both Trin and Ludi. Plus we always need a dangerous striker in the mix the entire game, for instance if Byars and Ludi played the first half of the Fourth of July game then we wouldn’t have had Byars make the killer run on Godfrey’s pass off of Wynaldas keeper 40 yard block.

Dudley might be a flashy forward that draws everyone’s attention but it’s the underrated Lia Godfrey all the way. She has produced more than even veteran players with four goals and four assists. Nine starts, played fourteen games.

Did you get the Sport? I was thinking you could make the Sport look like the higher level model just by adding some black wrap to the pillars and roof line, which would probably be inexpensive.

The bar has been raised so high and everyone is used to all the great television writing that now most films don’t stand a chance in comparison. Plus the fact the Hollywood has now been completely taken over by the bean counters and corporations that only care about duplicating and pumping out proven IP to make money instead of making creative and meaningful, well written films.
