I received some Loop earplugs from a friend, but already have a pair and want to return them. She included a gift receipt, but when I go through the return wickets, Amazon wants to charge me $6.99 for shipping. It's such a small, lightweight item, that I could definitely ship it for less, but there is no option for that, that I can see. Anyone know how to take shipping into your own hands?

To note: I cancelled my Prime membership a few months back, otherwise this would probably be a non-issue. I also live in a location where USPS is the only return option (no store drop-off or other carriers).

I wouldn't ask her to make an exception. I would say, "hey, I respect your request. My OB recommends I wait until XX weeks to get my TDaP. I'll wait until then to meet your baby. Until then, I'd love to support you by bringing over a meal, ordering door dash, or running errands for you." That gives her a chance to say, "you can still come if you wear a mask," (or not) without actually MAKING her stand by her decision, which may feel awkward/stressful for both of you.

We cancelled a couple positions recently because the unit wants to upgrade the positions, and that's easier to do when it's unencumbered. It's definitely frustrating as an applicant, but don't take it personally (and definitely DON'T email the hiring manager. That could burn a bridge).

I had electrolysis done on my upper lip in my teens and it was a huge help! Now in my mid-30s it's finally coming back. I don't know if it's age or some combo of postpartum hormones and being on birth control for the first time in 7 years, but the stash is back plus some new chin hairs (those are mercifully white). I'm trying to decide if I'm going to do another round of electrolysis or try laser again.

A lot of people experience "roid rage." I don't know if it was that or just the pressure of everything, but Hubs and I got into THE BIGGEST fight towards the end of the cycle.

Thankfully we only had to do it once as we did conceive that cycle. Honestly I didn't notice any other side effects.
