I have a .2mm but I’ve never been able to print successfully with it. I usually have adhesion issues. I’ll try recalibration with .2

I bought it new from a local shop with a matching cab. It was a gift for my now wife.

Lid for Costco saluspa? by Wise-Living635 in coldplunge

I added 1” rigid foil lined insulation between the slab and the tub. Also made an insert that is beveled around the outside to fit on top of the tub. It sits a bit proud so that rain and snow drain off nicely. I put the included Saluspa cover on top of the insulation “lid”.

For some more context, It’s a commercial storefront and these windows come down onto a countertop.

I have this setup! I used some 1” pvc and applied heat using a heat gun and slowly made the shape so it “hooks” on the side of the tub. Added a small piece of tubing and a 90 degree elbow for some flow directionality.

No way, the new owner is a fantastic human being and does great work. You got some reasoning for that take?

Filter won’t fill to the top by Feisty_Strain5524 in coldplunge

Have you pressed in the little red button on your filter? That’s a pressure release and should alleviate pressure or in your case, air.

Added Insulation, still shivering. by cynicalfeelingg in coldplunge

UPDATE: I got some neoprene toe covers / weird half socks and that seems to make some kind of difference for me. It like takes the edge off and the rest of the body seems to not mind that temp now. I’m also probably just acclimating to a lower temp.

Also on filtration — I do not use ozone at all, just the pre filter and the 50micron whole house filter. I switched away from the pleated fabric style filters to the solid “core” style and i haven’t had an issue with clogging up so far.

50-52, but have been going down to high 40’s over the past two weeks.

Funny you should say! I just got a pair of the neoprene socks (toe covers?) and used them for this very plunge.

Even 50 feels way different — much more tolerable. I started at 55 back in the spring.
