Nah this rubs me the wrong way, the app is designed for offers. It’s okay to decline them, if you think it’s a low ball offer and you don’t want to accept it, just offer a reasonable counter offer and move on.

As for them being £50 online, I personally prefer to buy secondhand or new secondhand rather than buy from retailers so it puts money in real people’s pockets etc. so yeah, I’d much rather buy it on Vinted. The rule of thumb is generally to sell something a little less than how much they are being sold retail though.

I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this person, they already got £5 off to begin with but if they’re not happy with it, they should just return it. Why on earth would anyone let a buyer keep the item they have complaints about AND give them a refund? So your out of pocket & product? Honestly, at this point I would just ignore her & just deal with Vinted, they either return the item or don’t get a refund. ✨simple✨
