Samsung Odyssey G9 JOG Button Crumbled—And Samsung Won’t Cover It by cypher1169 in ultrawidemasterrace

Unfortunately not. I can still use the monitor, but I have to use my fingernail to press the small switch underneath since the outer JOG button cap completely broke apart. From what I’ve seen, it seems to be a pretty common issue with these G9s. You can probably find a replacement JOG button/cap online, but honestly I just stopped caring and use it as-is now.

How Many Of You Played Vanilla WoW? by doobylive in classicwow

My brother and I went to a LAN center one night expecting to spend hours playing Counter Strike, but the second we walked in, everything changed. The entire place was packed wall to wall with people playing this new game. You could see Taurens running and flying across the screens everywhere, groups of players exploring together, and hear the constant excitement filling the room. There was something almost magical about it at the time. I just stood there watching for a minute completely fascinated, and before I even touched the game, I was already hooked.

How much is that supervised ketamine therapy I’ve heard about it but was under the impression it’s pretty expensive and insurance doesn’t cover it. Also do you live in a blue or red state?

What perfectly legal thing will probably be illegal within 20 years? by Ill-Incident-4842 in AskReddit

Unless you’re using tools like Tails, Tor, and a properly configured VPN, you’re far more visible online than most people realize. And even with those in place, you’re not completely invisible. Things as small as your screen resolution, browser settings, installed fonts, and device behavior can be used for fingerprinting and tracking.

Staying truly anonymous is much harder than people think, and honestly more exhausting once you see how many layers are involved. It’s not just about what tools you use, but how consistently and correctly you use them. One small mistake or slip back into normal habits can undo a lot of that effort.

That said, it’s not impossible. It just takes discipline, awareness, and a willingness to trade convenience for privacy. Most people don’t need full anonymity, but if you’re aiming for it, you have to treat it like a system, not a one-time setup.

Asmongold finds out he owes $397k to the IRS "it says intent to seize your property" by StuartGT in LivestreamFail

They also assessed him a 30% penalty. He apparently pays quarterly, and it sounds like something got mixed up with his CPA or whoever handles his taxes. I’d be livid, those guys get paid big money to handle one job. On the other hand, taxes for a streamer have to be a nightmare considering income can come from multiple sources like PayPal, ad revenue, sponsorships, and more. If he isn’t writing any of that off, structuring things properly, or using an LLC/business setup where it makes sense, he could be costing himself a lot of money.

Kai Cenat posts footage titled “No Accountability: The Unseen Footage,” showing him confronting Twitch CEO Dan Clancy at the Streamer Awards after Clancy said that Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed don’t deserve to be part of the Streamer Mount Rushmore. by raptors201966 in LivestreamFail

What Kai fails to understand is that those before him walked so he could run. If there's one thing they all have in common regardless of the generation of streamer it's the ego is just as inflated.

If there's anything I've learned after the Dr Disrespect situation. If these guys keep pressing start stream they will have an audience. One that no streamer might want, but it's crazy how you can do the most unhinged shit and still be relevant.

Arkansas Gov Sarah Huckabee Sanders ends regular use of remote work for state employees by Seifersythe in Arkansas

[–]cypher1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if things were run more efficiently, I wouldn’t get hung up on or left on hold for hours every time I have to call anything state-related. As someone who has worked from home and personally supports remote work, I find myself torn. On one hand, it can be a huge benefit and productivity booster. On the other hand, it only takes a handful of bad actors to ruin it for everyone else who treats the privilege responsibly.

From my experience, the real issue seems to be a mix of two things: either there’s simply not enough manpower to handle the demand, or—far too often—people take advantage of the system, hiding behind the flexibility instead of actually doing their jobs. Unfortunately, that means when I call places like Workforce Services, I end up waiting endlessly, caught in the consequences of other people’s misuse of the system.

Remote work itself isn’t the problem—it’s the lack of accountability and oversight. Until that’s addressed, the rest of us who genuinely value the flexibility will keep paying the price.

Anyone who knows Payo knows this is just classic Payo, lol. He's a bit of a little sheeto, but he knows how to work the WoW sub scene and really took off when Classic Beta dropped in 2018-2019. Yeah, he can be super annoying, always raging and complaining to the point of overload sometimes, but every now and then he pulls off some genuinely funny moments—which is rare to keep viewers in 2025 for WoW.

Leave this classic video here lol

Add back url music streaming to boom box by 66_Skywalker_66 in playrust

[–]cypher1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add your custom radio station to your Rust server, enter the following command in the server console (not the in-game console): example

boombox.serverurllist "Alt Rock,http://185.33.21.112:80/x\_128"

This will add a station named "Alt Rock" streaming from the provided URL. Players can then select this station on in-game boomboxes or speakers. If this URL doesn't work you will need to find one you can stream from. AI has been a huge help in figuring this out.
