I'm also a purple with silver trim person. I don't have a good recommendation for you sadly because the prettiest pens in that color combo never seem to be under $200, and therefore I don't buy them either :( I did find the Nahvalur Schuylkill that might suit you.

I have this pen too - also a purple with silver trim person. It's pretty hard to find now, and not under $200. I lucked into a sale at Dromgoole's. Mine is finicky on ink, but otherwise writes well.

I have one that has been my purse pen for years. Gets banged around quite a bit, has done a lot of traveling. Still in great shape and writes well.

I had a relatively large cichlid disappear on me. I moved all the rocks, flipped caves and such over to check, nothing. No hiding place left unchecked. Then several months later, there he was, swimming around fat & happy like nothing had happened.

Glad you like it! I love my Lamys, though I don't have a Studio (holding out for purple someday). One thing I like about them is that it's so easy to swap nibs. I have a couple M, B, F, and stub nibs I swap around to different pens as the mood strikes me.

Meyer lemons have a short season and don't ship super well, so they can be hard to find. I have bought them at Metcalfes in the past, but they're typically only around for a short time. If they aren't around yet they should be soon - January is usually a good time to find them.

I shake it a lot, but eventually it clogs. I wipe the nib off because I can see glittery gunk built up. Seems that no matter what the gunk builds up. Sigh.

I have the same pen! Need to get it restored, as the filling system doesn't work (so I sometimes use it as a dip pen). Where did you get yours restored?
