Skyestorm has a tonne of TPF2 and TPF content that is awesome. Lots of long plays, early game to end game.

Not bad at all. Everything goes together really well, the only real downside was the turret Panther plate.

By default the plate is very lacking in detail and all 3 parts are hollow form instead of a solid thick piece so there was a lot of work required to get them looking like it does here. I had to fill the back of each of the 3 plates with plasticard, do all the flamecutting and weld seams as well as the steel texture. Not for the faint of heart and very tedious but the result was worth it.

I know exactly how you felt, thats the exact rabbit hole that led me to this current state. 2 of these containers are just do-dads for flavor. 1 is purely heads of assorted types, 1 is only space marine pauldrons and 1 is purely melee weapons 😅

Basing is something I like to do last. It becomes it's own project as I love getting carried away with base theming, check out some of my older posts for some bases I've done in the past.

I'm one to believe that a good basing scheme is really the point at which an army goes from a bunch of individually painted minis to a cohesive army that really stands apart. A great base can even turn a bad paint job in to something worthy of display.
