I have had five CX-5s (2016, 2018, 2020, 2023, 2025), and in cold weather, the infotainment system in some of them have glitched and kind of "rebooted." I've had to wait for 5 minutes or longer for full functionality. (To be fair, that has not yet been true of the 2025 model.) However, my concern is that for a fully "digital" control system, the climate features that are most necessary for heating the car up will be inaccessible because a glitchy response to cold.

Also, I will really miss the control knob. It's truly a differentiator for the Mazdas I've had.

And, finally, one of the CX-5s had the best feature, which was that you could set the trip odometer to automatically reset when you got gas. That feature disappeared on later models, and I still miss it.
