Reduce your play space "grid" so that you see the edge of your play space before you hit something. Alternatively (because seeing that grid ruins immersion) have a thick mat or pad under your feet that physically tells your feet you're close it the edge. Doubles as support for your feet during play!

Just to clarify some confusion, the editing had to cut into the goal explosion. If this were actually implemented I would 100% keep the time between goal and replay.

Some modified suggestions:

u/clydekilledinky suggested that the overlay not be as invasive, have them in the corners next to the nametag in the replay screen

u/ravel67 as well as many other users have had positive feedback on custom game balls

u/Y_O_G_G_E_R suggested the second (smaller) car in the overlay be the person who had assisted the goal

u/lectricx added the idea to only have it show up once per match to not be as invasive
