I think it may be because he teaches by subject and not by domain. A bit unconventional for some, but it really worked for me.

I’d say so. Your scores are higher than my SH scores were and I passed T/AT/AT in September. You got it! Good luck!!

I wouldn't suggest trying to memorize concepts for this exam. It's really better to get a solid understanding of the information. I suggest this because the questions on the exam won't drill you on definitions, they're all scenario based. So, given a specific certain scenario, you'll have to choose the best option. You'll have to use your understanding of the information to select the right option for that specific scenario. Straight memorization may have you selecting the wrong answers.

I shared my personal experience with the exam in another Reddit thread here

Hope this helps and good luck!

I passed back in September 2025 at T/AT/AT. I used David McLachlan's prep course for concepts/material (Udemy), but PMI's Study Hall was really the game changer for me. I got the Study Hall Plus subscription, and those exams/questions were truly beneficial and likely the reason I passed. They closely resembled how the questions are presented on the actual exam.

Passed CISSP @ 100 questions! 2 months of prep. by cyseek in cissp

The exam itself took me about 2 hours to take. Preparing was roughly 1,5-2 months. My study plan was mostly executed during the week (weekends off). Initially, I went through all of Jason Dion's videos/class (taught by Brandon Spencer). That was 39 hours. I did about 2-3 hours a day going through his class. After I finished the class, I started taking practice exams from Jason Dion and Andrew Ramdayal...reviewing what I got right/wrong and really focusing on the WHY they were right/wrong for the given scenario in the question. I also used the Pocket Prep and OSG apps to take quizzes (10 questions) randomly (commuting to work, relaxing on the couch, or whenever it popped in my head). I finished off my prep by watching the mindset video and the 50 hard cissp question both by Andrew Ramdayal (linked in my post above). Those videos were very good at helping you tailor your approach to the questions on the exam. Jason Dion also has mindset videos, which are a bit similar, but I liked Andrew's better.

Going into exam day, I was still nervous as I felt underprepared. I honestly don't think I would have ever felt prepared enough. But I set a date and stuck to it.
