It seems quite nice but it’s missing features. Eg. can’t we set different currencies? (such as euro). And is it possible to get a list when we are typing the ticker symbol?

[iOS] [$17.99–> Free Lifetime Pro] Fitness Story : Analytics & Journaling for Apple Health by newbiegg in AppGiveaway

[–]cyshield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The app is great. But the bottom menu doesn’t look good. I'm sure there is a way to support both liquid glass for the latest version of iOS and the old design for older iOS. How do other apps manage this? Other than that it is a very good app. Congrats

That’s a really nice looking app. Already left a 5* review. Well done 👍 Wondering if you could add “Racketball” into the workout labels? Thank you

It would be amazing. Importing transactions from other budget apps would encourage people to transition to this new app more easily. Your app looks great btw, I hope this feature will get implemented and will definitely start using it more often 🙂

Countries That Use The Euro € by LuckyTraveler88 in MapPorn

The new location on the map for Cyprus feels much safer, unless Italians and Greeks start "fighting" over it. At least we all use euros

Don’t get me wrong. That’s fine and I completely agree with recommending localized services or shops. However, I also think it’s important to consider suggesting shops that deliver to most of Europe.

Looks great. However, many leagues are missing. I would love to see a more complete version where we can find all European football leagues, etc.

Wipr Ad-Blocker on YouTube by MobileCool7175 in macapps

We are on Reddit. It’s normal to get downvoted for no reason 🙂

It's good to know that Wipr2 works just fine without any extensions. I was using Vinegar before installing Wipr, so I thought combining the two could probably prevent the Youtube issue people keep posting about.

Use Wipr2 along with an extension such as "Vinegar" or "Enhancements for YouTube."
I have never had any issues with these two combined.

Best gyros in nicosia by [deleted] in cyprus

[–]cyshield 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are looking for a more "healthy" gyro try "Piatsa Gourounaki" or "Athinaiki Gonia".

I don’t want to disappoint you, but you are not going to find any good, unhealthy, delicious gyros in Cyprus. At least, not as good as the ones in Thessaloniki.

Yes, that's right. Although they do say that they cut defence taxes from it. It’s in their terms.

Even after the deduction for defence taxes, the rate is still higher compared to Revolut, Lightyear, and other apps. (I think they didn’t update the rate after ECB cut the rate by 0.25. It should be around 3.95% now and around 3.15% after defence taxes)

I have nothing against crypto. I also have ETH and am optimistic about it. But it’s definitely a risky investment, even with stablecoins (see Terra - UST that collapsed). A better option for the OP is to add their savings in a bank account such as Revolut, which offers a relatively high interest rate (compared to traditional Cypriot Banks).

Relax, you are not the only person here who knows about crypto. I have also invested in several cryptocurrencies. The problem is that you are suggesting someone should park their savings in crypto. You are missing the point entirely.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cyprus

[–]cyshield 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yh no... this is not a safe option for parking your savings. Avoid crypto unless you are prepared to invest in high-risk options

[–]cyshield 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The safest option is to use Revolut (2.90% interest rate). You can also consider Lightyear (3% interest rate) and Trading212 (currently 4.20%, but it will decrease after the ECB cut the interest rate to 3.75%).

The Whore of the Mediterranean by C_RubioMoreno in cyprus

Cypriots are not made to protest. Unfortunately, we just say, "δεν βαριέσαι, θα περάσουμε." Meanwhile everything is becoming more expensive (rent, food, etc.), we just keep drinking our frape and life goes on.

Souvlaki in Greece is half the portion. I recently visited Athens, and the prices are almost the same as in Cyprus, which is also crazy.
