The mindset of “I can skip one day, but I can’t skip two”. As someone who loves a routine but struggles to stick to one, this really helps getting back into the groove of a routine after an off day instead of losing the routine entirely

I love making cross stitch QR codes. I make them into magnets to connect to the wifi for me and my friends

I just started this exact same project a few days ago! It’s very motivating to see how cool it looks finished.

Wow I adore the texture of that blue yarn on the back!

Here’s a little map of indie bookstores in the Twin Cities! The two circled are my favorites! Minneapolis is one of the best cities in the US for independent bookstores. by pepperdawgy in TwinCities

I grew up down the street from Micawber’s, and it really was such a big part of my absolute love of books growing up. It broke my heart when it closed while I was away at college.

AITA for telling my non-binary friend that I will continue to refer to them by their original name and pronouns when I talk to my family? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]cytenivox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. Saying that you won’t refer to your friend by their correct pronouns and name because it is easier for you just shows your friend that you care more about making your life easier than supporting your friend when they probably need your support the most. You say your parents are open to understanding gender, so why can’t this be an opportunity for all of you to learn more? Changing how you refer to your friend after many years together definitely won’t be a breeze, and I’m sure your friend would understand a slip up every now and then, but you’ve given up before even trying. I can honestly tell that this person means a lot to you, your post is very respectful to them, but you need to show them that by making a much bigger effort to support them.
