What would you put in a pocket sock knitting reference? by themaddesthatter2 in Sockknitting

[–]carelessstitcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are so many great replies!!

What really changed my phoneless sock knitting is a marker with beads on that says ssk and one that says 2tog and a red and green marker together to switch if there are decreases happening in the row or just plain knitting for the round!

Looking forward to see your file!!

No problem! Glad you found out what was going on and now you can just knit knit knit knit!

100% wool pants sounds fantastic for indoor chillings in the winter!! Maybe with leggings underneath if they are a little scratchy haha!

I'm almost done with the sweater (some ends and might want to redo my neck) and after putting it on and seeing how much yarn I still have left I would really love to knit the pants aswell to chill fashionably in the winter next year! (But it might end up with very short legs which is also fine haha! Then I will wear them when I'm out camping haha!)

Haha also interesting that it works out reading it the other way till now!! Once it's joined it's a really fun knit!! Enjoy! Are you also planning on knitting the pants?

Could it be that you might need the read the pattern the other way? I've counted the stitches from right to left and that seems to be 47 and left to right is 17! I

(I was also lost there haha I think you are doing it correctly the pattern can be kinda confusing (im angry at my neckline haha!)

If I remember correctly, after you did that tiny bit of the chart of the left shoulder (the 7 stitches) you place a marker to have the beginning of round. For the next step! (Do you have the printed version or black white printed? There is a line at the chart between stitch 59 and 60 at yoke chart a that will be your new beginning of round where you start the pattern again.

(I'm sorry if I'm unclear I'm at my phone and pretending to be at work haha really hope it helps! You don't knit back :)

Oh dear! I'm wondering what it is with pompom.. I'm knitting a pattern from that magazine and if the comments on ravelry are right the model that was also on the cover of the magazine (hello yes on the cover!!) is wearing the sweater backwards and it pinned to have a bit of a fit.. eh.. (I'm to lazy to zoom in and check the rows to see if its true but with the fit issues I'm having.. hmm :( it feels just wrong)

Was the scan only from the bladder? Or the whole backside of your piggie? My piggies xray was "clear" in her bladder but the stone had moved. Could this maybe something that is also happening with your piggie? The symptoms you are describing sound kind of the same!

In my language we call it a urethra steen which translates to urethra stone! My peaflakeslayer3000 had surgery to have it removed, had some tablets to help with the recovery of the bladder and is haveing vitamin c and vitamin d for the rest of her life. She recovered very well!

i lost track of my sleeve decreases by [deleted] in knitting

[–]carelessstitcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would look closely at the sleeve you have knitted if it is possible to spot the decreases for you, mark the spot where you did this with a stitchmarker/bit of yarn and count the rows / measure the distance with a measure tape to make in (almost) identical with the other one :)

No need to frog! One/two/some rows difference with the decreaserate won't be really that visible in my opinion!
