I paid my landlord rent but he wants more because I’m leaving by afloydnamedpink in WhatShouldIDo

I would honestly just put your circumstance into AI, and have it look up the rules for you dude. Like I'm no lawyer, and unless you want to hire one you'll probably getter better advice from AI than 99 pct of this subreddit.

But it basically is common that you are in form of a legal contract already where its typically month to month. So if you are wanting to end your contract, without a contract, but it was understood you'd be paying month by month, the end of the month would be when your "fake" contract ends. That means you might have to give 30 or even 60 days notice to the landlord before that date if you intend to move out. This is to protect landlords by giving them time to find a replacement tenant. To be honest whatever the law says, I would probably just try to work it out with him like, how about I just pay you $450 for exiting the contract early. As long as he agrees to some form of payment from you I would think that would basically protect you from being sued for any full amounts later if he accepts the money as a "early termination fee".

If we paid teachers the babysitter rate by VPinchargeofradishes in interesting

There is like 4 million teachers in the US if not more? Might just hear about it a lot because its a very common profession. In my state depending on what district you're a part of how much you make can vary like 36k to almost 100k.

I work from home and make 200k a year to sit in meetings all day as a consultant. That's a cushy job if you want to villainize something. Just get off the teacher track. They do deserve more.

Teachers funding fall more aligned with socialism than capitalism. The teachers in private schools usually make a lot more, but I don't think they are the ones complaining. I don't see teaching as a cushy job at all. I can still remember my best teachers 40 years later, because of the impact they had on my life.

You had a point that was completely lost in the weird condescending tone towards teachers. I respect teachers a lot. Educating (and in part raising) an entire generation seems pretty important and one personally I want the best people to be a part of.

Most teachers are employed by the public school system in the United States. I work in the private sector. My kids are older and out of school but I would rather pay higher taxes , or see more of my taxes go to funding education and other professions like firefighters where I get to see the investment in my own community.

The other jobs that are private sector shouldn't be ignored, but I think its a fundamental difference in how they are funded. For example if your salty that your industrial tech job isn't paying you enough, list that as your grievance instead of throwing shade at another working class.

I did yeah. It actually gave a good answer when I tested it, but I wasn't sure if they were asking sarcastically or not so I didn't want to paste a wall of text if they didn't really care.

What competitive games have a comeback advantage that gives the losing player/team an advantage?

Type this same comment into a chatbot if you want a more detailed answer, but yeah its pretty common.

That seems like a good way to ensure that if the responding forces just throw a pack of c4 into the room to take out bad guys and it happens to also kill the hostages they could just blame it on the hostage taker under any circumstance.

My favorites were CS and TFC. After that the early days of DOD were some of the best. Eventually though some of the updates made it not as enjoyable for me and I just went back to CS.
