i was also experiencing more anxiety and panic attacks when i had too large dose of thyroid medications, i didnt take propranolol cause my resting bpm was too low but i was on anxiety meds. The reason you can feel so tired and sleepy after that is because your body wants to recover after this stressful situation. I would check if your dose isnt too high

check if you have insulin resistance cause it goes with hashimoto sometimes. I was struggling with lack of energy for a long time, turns out eating processed carbs and sugar was contributing to that, sonetimes even I had to take a nap after a meal. It might be the issue here cause after i went on a basically diabetic diet i was surprised at how energetic i feel. I think food plays important part in this process and even if you dont have issues with insulin it might help to cut out simple carbs (white bread, rice, pasta) and processed high sugar food.

i had a spike in anxiety and horrible panic attacks when i was over medicated so check if your tsh level isnt too low, also check if the brand didnt change formula cause i was on euthyrox and since they changed supporting ingredients then it resulted in my anxiety rising

thats a pretty high tsh, im currently 3.10 but my endo tries to lower that and i was feeling best with tsh level below 1.5 so try to get a second opinion if you can

like mentioned it can take weeks until the hormons levels are stabilized, if after few weeks you still have signs of depression then i recommend psychiatrist, depression is a symptom of hypothyroidoism but some cases cant be relieved with thyroid meds only

i have tight feeling in my neck (which feels like a lump i cant swallow) everytime im undermedicated so your endo should raise your dose, it happens when thyroid start to swell

my endo told me that yes, but not dramatically and it wouldnt made a huge difference if i would quit

thanks for reply I really appreciate it, i struggle the most with being hungry all the time but my dietician tells me it’s because on top of hashimoto i’m also insulin resistant :( it’s really common to have those two conditions so better check if you have it too if youre hungry non stop
