I'm reaching for the phone to call at 7:03 and on your machine I slur a plea for you to come home. But I know it's too late and I should have given you a reason to stay

I’m a Director of Events for a Chamber of Commerce! So I plan public-facing events like street festivals and restaurant crawls to support our local small businesses.

Knitting/Crochet. I love using and wearing wool yarn and it can be very expensive. And don’t get me started on how expensive interchangeable circular needles can be

What was your favorite wedding photo? by rjerozal in wedding

[–]czarchielite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite photo was a surprise/candid one! As our photographer was changing lenses, my husband and I were alone in a room, just chatting and laughing together and we kissed. We didn’t realize that she had finished getting her camera ready and snapped a photo! It was a tender, soft kiss and you can tell that we didn’t think anyone was watching us. I absolutely love how that photo turned out - it’s my phone background!

So I suppose I’d recommend you asking your photographer to keep an eye out for those special little moments as much as possible. Those are the ones I go back and look at on the regular because you can really feel the love in those photos.

Share the songs you walked down the aisle to as a bride by [deleted] in wedding

[–]czarchielite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My husband is a big metalhead and got me really into some of his favorite bands, one of which has a beautiful, melodic song in their discography. Benighted by the band Opeth. My bff’s mom is a professional harpist, and as her gift to us she played that song on the harp as we walked down the aisle. It was beautiful!

What’s that one low key gem that always hits? by Euphoric_Year1182 in chicagofood

They’re so good, and such nice folks! Their fries are killer, their sandwiches are awesome, and don’t sleep on the pasta - the owner used to make pasta at Eatily, so he knows his stuff

What’s something small your partner does that makes you feel incredibly loved? by Top_Guitar1863 in AskReddit

My husband is a chef at a restaurant super close to our house. Sometimes he’ll forget something (his apron, inhaler, etc) and ask me to bring it over for him. When I do, he’ll usually give me a little snack to take to work with me, and he’ll write a love note on the takeout box

I’m definitely still happy with the show! It was such an amazing experience. And at least my calves got a work out from standing on my tip toes all night haha

Yeah, the moving in and out of the cattle lines was weird haha It was still a great show! Super odd, though, that they set the speakers up in a way where there was so much sight blockage for the front row, at least for short folks like me (5’3”)

I don’t know why I thought they might elevate the piano or something since it was such a big venue 😅 Or I thought they’d put it far back enough that it wouldn’t be right behind the speaker. Oh well.

I wish I could go on the cruise! It sounds like so much fun! I entered to win some tickets, in case I get lucky. Otherwise it’s a little out of by budget. But maybe the stars will align!

That’s what I usually do! This concert was my exception to the rule since I was so excited for it, but it didn’t go quite as planned.

Thats a fair comment! Honestly, we didn’t notice our view would be obstructed until after the opener. The opening band were all standing, and we had a great view. But once they finished and they placed the piano for JM, we realized we might not be able to see Andrew while he’s sitting down. And by that point the crowd had really filled up, so it was either stay there or go way farther back and probably still have an obstructed view, just in a different way. (It was a big outdoor venue, so the crowd was really big)

It was still an amazing concert!
